PAU Writing Task – A Narrative Story

Read this short story and:

I looked in my pocket, but my wallet was not there. I felt scared. "Where is it?" I asked
myself. I went back to the café and asked the woman at the counter. She said, "No, I did not
see it." Then, a little boy ran to me. "Is this your wallet?" he asked. I was so happy and said,
"Yes, thank you!"

1. Give a title to it.


2. Change the underlined sentence and write three different endings based
on the following prompts:
Options for the Ending:
 Dramatic: The thief is caught, but the wallet is empty.
 Comical: The wallet was under a table the whole time.
 Suspenseful: A mysterious note is inside the wallet.
