ANSWER

ACTIVITY 1
DO YOU EMBODY THESE WHAT STEPS DO YOU UNDERTAKE TO DEVELOP THEM?

A science teacher's effectiveness in classroom instruction is largely attributed to their passion for the
subject, effective communication skills, use of visual aids, patience, empathy, creativity, and
innovation. They create engaging lessons and experiments that capture students' interest and make
learning enjoyable. They are open to new ideas and innovative teaching methods, incorporating
technology and encouraging critical thinking. They also encourage curiosity and critical thinking,
creating an environment where students feel comfortable expressing their ideas and making mistakes.
The purpose of every science class is to foster a deeper understanding of the natural world, develop
critical thinking skills, and cultivate scientific literacy. They aim to inspire curiosity, promote inquiry-
based learning, and equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed
decisions about scientific issues. An effective science class captivates students' interest, fosters
curiosity, and motivates them to actively participate in learning.

LESSON 111.SYNTHESIS

The purpose of every science class is to

 Help students see how science is a part of their everyday lives and that it can be used to
make the world a better place
 Generate interest in scientific careers
 Develop inquiring minds and curiosity about science and the natural world
 Acquire knowledge, conceptual understanding and skills to solve problems and make
informed decisions in scientific and other contexts
 Provide an education in problem solving and collaboration

-WHAT MAKES ENGAGING AND INPIRING SCIENCE CLASS? AN EFFECTIVE SCIENCE CLASS?

Make them feel like real scientists

Research shows that students build self-esteem by engaging in “role-play.” They gain scientific knowledge in the
process as well as build and develop social and emotional roles that are vital to a well-rounded child. This makes
experiment days where students get to use test tubes and beakers some of the most engaging days of the year.
