“Members Area”

CREATING YOUR
MEMBERS AREA

• Let’s create the home for your


product’s content - the members
area!
• First you have bonus training on
how to capture your content.
• Then we’ll build your members area
and connect it to your product.
• Lastly we’ll connect your members
area to your funnel for a simple user
experience they’ll love!

Check Off Each Item As You Complete It

Step #1 - Setting Up Your Members Area

Unlock The Course App in your ClickFunnels account by clicking on the


“+” sign next to the word “APPS” on the left-hand menu. Choose “Courses”
from the apps list and verify your choice by clicking “Add App”

Start Creating Your Course by clicking “Create Course” and following the
first step by choosing to use a “Custom” course type, then click Next Step.
After you successfully save, it’ll show as grayed out (as shown below).

Add Your Course Name and description so your customer can recognize
your course easily. Description should be written so cold audiences may
be interested in buying your course (ps - never forget you can always use
Napoleon AI to help you write.) Verify the URL and choose Next Step.

Choose Theme & Image for your course. If you don’t see the option for
a theme, continue to add an image (you can always add this later). Click
Next Step.

START ADDING CONTENT

Add Your First Module to your course by clicking on the “Add new module”
button. Name your module and save (note - no description or module
image are necessary at this time). Click “Create Module” when done.

Add Your First Lesson by clicking on your module’s prompt “Empty - Add
Content” and choose “Lesson” from the drop down menu. Choose your
lesson’s name and save (again, description and image are not required
right now). Click “Create Lesson” when done.

Edit Your First Lesson by clicking on the name of your first lesson, then
adding all of the pieces you would add to a regular ClickFunnels page
(note: focus on 1-column designs for your first basic course setup).

OPTION 1: Add Videos or Audios To ClickFunnels. You can upload videos
and audios directly to ClickFunnels specifically for lessons. They’ll only
be playable inside of lessons. To do so, click on “Video” or “Audio” in the
orange highlighted elements under the category “Lesson”. Then on the
left-menu, click “Video” or “Audio” and upload your file here. Each lesson
can hold only 1 video and 1 audio.basic course setup).

OPTION 2: Add Videos From 3rd Party Sources Like Voomly. Use the
videos you’ve uploaded to Voomly, YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia and more by
simply choosing the “Video” option in the group “Media.” You can add as
many videos or audios per lesson as you choose if they’re not saved inside
of ClickFunnels. Just grab the link from Voomly or whatever you choose
and click on the Video element to paste it into the right-hand input field.

Add All Elements & Content you want inside of your lesson, such as
paragraph content for welcome text, images, a welcoming atmosphere
and more. Once you’re done, click “Save” in the top right corner and then
close the window.

ADDITIONAL MODULES AND LESSONS

Create Other Modules & Lessons that you want to provide to your
customers by following the same steps.

Make Your Lessons Live. To make individual lessons live, hover over the
specific lesson you want to turn live and click on the text in the far right
that says “Draft”. Then choose “Publish”

Make Your Modules Live. To make your modules live, hover over the
specific module you want to turn live and click on the text in the far right
that says “Draft”. Then choose “Publish”. This will give you a prompt to
verify how you want this to go live. Simply click “Yes” to “Enroll all existing
course students” for this first course and click “Update Module” to save.

Make Your Entire Course Live. You can turn your entire course LIVE by
clicking the “Draft” button at the top-right of the entire course, then
choose “Publish.” This will ask if you also want to publish all Modules and
Lessons that are unblemished as well. Make your choice and click “Update
Course” to save.

VERIFY THE FINAL SETTINGS TO YOUR COURSE

Make Your Entire Course Visible in the Learning Hub. You can turn
your entire course LIVE by clicking the “Draft” button at the top-right of
the entire course, then choose “Publish.” This will ask if you also want to
publish all Modules and Lessons that are unblemished as well. Make your
choice and click “Update Course” to save.

Step #2 - See What Your Course Looks Like!

Navigate To Your Customer Center. In the far left menu under “Apps”,
click “Site” and choose “Customer Center” from the sub-menu that pops
open.“Add App”

Note: You won’t see anything added yet - we’ll add you as a customer next.

UNLOCK ACCESS FOR YOURSELF

Go To Your Contact Details. Back inside of ClickFunnels in the top-left


menu, click “Contacts” and then click “Contacts.” Click on your email
address to open your contact details.

Enroll Yourself & Test The LearningHub. Click on Enrollments, then “Add
Enrollment.” Choose your course and all of its modules & lessons. Save
then go back to the Learning Hub & refresh to see the full course!

Step #3 - Connect Your Product To Your Course

Go To Product Settings. In the top-left menu, click “Products.” Then


choose the main product that will unlock access to your brand new course.

Connect The Product To Your Course. Scroll down almost to the bottom
and click the “+” sign next to “Course access.” Choose your course’s
modules and lessons and save.

Step #4 - Finalize Your Funnel By Giving Buyers
Instant Access

Copy Your Course’s Link. Go to your course and click on the main course
you’re unlocking access to. Then click the copy sign next to the url.

Open The Last Page In Your Funnel. Go to “Funnels” in the top-left menu
and click on your funnel. Then open the final page of your funnel.

Update The Members Button. Scroll down to the button and click on
it. Then insert your pasted link into the input field in order to send your
customers to your members area after they purchase.

Continue To Update Your Page And Save. Update the page with your
logo, support details and the call to action to give you a review. Remember
to save as you go! Exit the funnel page once you’re finished.

Step #5 - Test Your Funnel And Make It LIVE!

Recognizing Test Mode. Your funnel is currently in Test Mode, which


means that if you go to the order form’s page link, you’ll find that the
order form has a banner with a test credit card message.

Testing Your Funnel. Click on the link at the top of the Funnel’s view.
Then go through your entire funnel as if you were your own customer
using a new email. Use the test credit card at the top of the order form to
purchase. On the confirmation page, test the button to ensure it goes to
the members area and access is fully unlocked.

Make Any Adjustments And Turn Off Test Mode. If you find any issues,
fix your funnel step-by-step to ensure customers experience your funnel
exactly the way you want. You can test a funnel multiple times using
multiple emails. Once you’re sure the funnel is performing correctly, make
it live by clicking on the funnel’s Settings in the top-right corner, turning
off test mode and saving it.
