A: Look! This is a photo of my best friends.

B: Hmm… Nice. Who’s the girl with long, black hair?
A: That’s Naomi. She’s from Wales.
B: Has she got a pet?
A: Yes, she has. Her cat is called Cecilia.

B: And who’s that boy? Is he your friend from school?

A: No, he isn’t. He’s a friend from tennis club.
B: Oh, OK. And what’s his name?
A: Ian. He’s from Scotland. He’s a really good player!

B: Who’s this next to the window?

A: The boy with blonde hair?
B: Yes.
A: Oh, that’s Miles.

I usually get up at 6 o’clock because I do my homework before school. Why? Because I

haven’t got time in the evening! I have football practice every evening from Monday to
Friday. School starts at 8.45, and I have lunch at school with my friends. I usually have a
sandwich – my dad makes one for me every morning. Dinner is pasta or rice and sometimes
meat or fish. Pizza is my favourite food, but I only eat it at the weekend! On Saturdays, I
meet my friends. We sometimes go to the cinema, but we usually stay at home and we
watch a film. I don’t go to bed late because on Sunday mornings I always have a football
match.

AIMEE: Yes, I am. My name is Aimee.
PETER: You’ve got a beautiful name, Aimee. How do you spell it?
AIMEE: It’s A-I-M-E-E.
PETER: Thank you.

PETER: Where are you from, Aimee?

AIMEE: I’m from France. I live in Biarritz.
PETER: Oh. Where is that? Is it near Germany?
AIMEE: No, it isn’t. It’s near Spain.

PETER: Do you play any sport at the weekend?

AIMEE: I’m tired at the weekend. I go to volleyball practice five times a week.
PETER: Is volleyball your favourite sport?
AIMEE: No, it’s not. But I like it. My favourite sport is skiing.

AIMEE: That’s great!

PETER: Can I come with you? I love shopping.
AIMEE: Sure! Look - there’s the bus! Come on, let’s run!
