Graded Lab 2: Microsoft Word Skills Assessment Total Marks: 10

Objective:

Students will demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word by completing tasks that involve
formatting, inserting objects, and document design.

Tasks:

Task 1: Table Creation and Formatting (3 Marks)

Instructions:

1. Insert a table with 6 rows and 4 columns.


2. Fill the table with sample data for student grades:
o Columns: Name, Subjects (Math, English, and Science), Marks
o Rows: Add at least 5 students.
3. Apply the following:
o Left align all text in the table.

Task 2: Inserting Objects (3 Marks)

Instructions:

1. Insert a Line chart to display the marks of 3 subjects: Math, English, and Science. (Use
above table as reference).
2. Format the chart:
o Add a title: “Marks Trends.”
o Change one line color to purple.

Task 3: Header, Footer, and Page Numbers (3 Marks)

Instructions:

1. Insert a header with your name and roll number.


2. Insert a footer with the text: “Microsoft Word Lab.”
3. Add page numbers in the footer, aligned to the right.

Marking Criteria:

 Task Completion: 9 marks (as per instructions).


 Presentation and timely submission: 1 mark.
