Netters spike out Tossers, 2-1

BALLESTEROS, CAGAYAN - Piat Netters triumphed over Abulug

Tossers,2-1, in the Game 3 during the Vargas District Elementary
Athletic Association (VARDEAA) in Ballesteros last September 3, 2017.
Netters team captain Alvin Callo consistently showed accuracy in
his consecutive service disappointing the Tossers to even catch up in
set 1, 25-8.
The Tossers rallied in set 2 headed by Dante Abella and Boy Reno
who worked together to stop Callo but still failed, 25-22.
“I am happy and proud because we finally won,” says Callo who also
said that he did his best to assure them the championship as early as
the second game.
“We lost in the game because we had many errors in our service and
tossing,” explained Abella with disappointment.
Meanwhile the Netters will be representing the CD-2 in the coming
Provincial Meet this coming December 2017.
