INTRODUCTION
I
n the Hebrew text of Psalm 119, each stanza of the Psalm is dedicated to a different letter of the
Hebrew alphabet.
Each of the eight verses that make up a stanza in Psalm 119 begin with the same letter to which that
stanza has been dedicated.
In Psalm magic, Psalm 119 is often worked as 22 separate Psalms, each with its own traditional magical
uses. Many of these traditional uses are covered in my booklet called, How To Work Psalm Magic.
In this booklet you are now reading, we will go even further into the deeper mysteries and powers that
lie within Psalm 119.
T
he writings in the Sefer Yetzirah claim that when God created the world, he employed the twenty-
two letters of the Hebrew alphabet to do so.
In the Hebrew Bible it is written that, the Elohim (God) began the creation of the universe with the
word, “Let there be light.”
The Elohim continued this creation using ten sacred numbers (Sephirot).
After the Elohim created the numbers, they created a second set of Sefirot which are the 22 letters of
the Hebrew alphabet.
The teaching states that God created everything through the use of sacred script. This is what is meant
by the Word of God.
In magic, we view the Hebrew Letters as powerful symbols that represent actual Divine forces.
Through studying and working with these shapes, we unlock great reservoirs of power which lie
dormant in each of us.
In this booklet, I use older English spellings of the Hebrew names, rather than switching to more
modern English spellings; this is simply because that’s the way I learned them.

he following spell casting process can be used to obtain any sincere and honest desire of the
heart. Use it to help build a blessed life for yourself, as well as to eliminate things in your life that
stand in the way of your good.

4. If your result is larger than 22, add the numerals together to reduce it.
In our example, the number of our phrase is 50. We add the numerals together: 5 + 0 = 5
5. Look up the corresponding Hebrew Letter for the resulting number in the Hebrew Alphabet Chart.
In our example, the number 5 corresponds with the letter He.
6. Work the He stanza from Psalm 119. It’s important that you use the Psalm Formula.
7. Repeat step 6 once per day, until you get a sense of peace and certainty about the situation you
are working on. This feeling is a sign to you that your spell has taken root; once you get the sense
that your spell has “taken,” stop casting for that issue and move on to something else.
8. For added benefit, take some time each day during the days that you are casting your spell, and
practice tracing or writing the Hebrew letter that corresponds with your spell.

INVOKING THE TEACHING ANGELS USING PSALM 119
I
f you have studied my course, Basic Angel Magic, or have downloaded any of my various booklets on
Angel Magic, you are already familiar with the eight Teaching Angels.
You can use Psalm 119 to call on any of these angels, by name, and ask for help in any matter they rule.
You will find a list of the eight Teaching Angels and what they rule in this booklet.
1. Find the Hebrew Name for the Angel you desire to work with. For example, Angel Raphael is
spelled ( רפאלResh; Pe; Aleph; Lamed).
2. Write the angel’s name, in Hebrew, on a small piece of paper (remember that Hebrew is written and
read from right to left).
3. Beneath the angel’s name write your request for help. If you are new to angel magic, simply use
English letters to write your request.
4. Next, recite each stanza from Psalm 119, in the order that corresponds to the letters in the name of
the angel you are invoking. In our example we would recite the stanzas for Resh, Pe, Aleph, and
Lamed, in that order, since those letters spell out Raphael’s name.
Work the Psalm Formula for each of these stanzas, in order (see How to Work Psalm Magic if you
don’t know the Psalm Formula).
5. Repeat step 4 once per day until you have a sense that your spell has taken. Hide the paper away
from prying eyes when you are not working the spell.
6. Rip up the paper and throw it away once you have finished working the spell.
Psalm 119 can be used to spell out anything; when used with angel names or God names it serves as a
very intense invocation.

THE TEACHING ANGELS
An extensive list of correspondences for each Angel is available in my Basic Angel Magic Course

Often, Uriel will perform an 'eleventh hour miracle' when all hope seems gone, every option has been
sincerely attempted, and a miracle is genuinely needed.

TALISMANS
T
alismans are powerful reinforcements to your Psalm magic. They aren’t required in Psalm magic,
but many of us love using them and find them effective. In addition to the paper you use in The
Spell of Psalm 119, you can use this talisman to give extra support to your spell.
2. Sign your name inside the circle (I’m using my name in this example. You, of course, will write
your own name instead).
3. Beneath your name, draw the Hebrew Letter you calculated for the Spell of Psalm 119.
Your talisman is active the instant you have completed these thee steps.
Hide your talisman somewhere it won’t be disturbed. Don’t put anything on top of it. You can store it in
a drawer or cabinet as long as it stays lying flat, face up, with nothing sitting directly on top of it. I find
that the top of a tall bookcase is a great place to keep active talismans.
Keep your talisman active until you get the sense your spell has taken (when you feel a sense of peace
and certainty about the matter in question).
Once you feel your spell has taken, deactivate your talisman. To deactivate a talisman, simply tear it. It
is deactivated the instant the circle is torn.
For more information on how to work with simple talismans, please read my free booklet, How to Work
Talisman Magic.

AN ANGEL TALISMAN
1. Draw two circles on a small piece of paper like this
2. Toward the top of the inner circle, sign your name in either English or Passing the Rivers Script.
Refer to the Basic Angel Magic Course to learn how to write in the Rivers Script.
3. Write the name of the angel with whom you are working, in Hebrew, below your signature.
4. Refer to the included Hebrew Alphabet Chart, and convert the Angel’s name into numbers. Add the
numbers together, and reduce it to a number from 1 to 22.
For example, Raphael is spelled ( רפאלResh; Pe; Aleph; Lamed)
Resh 20; Pe 17; Aleph 1; Lamed 12
20 + 17 + 1 + 12 = 50
5+0=5
5. Find the Hebrew stanza that corresponds to the number you calculated in step 4. (In our example
the number 5 corresponds to the letter He).
6. Next, inside the double circle, write the last verse of the stanza that you just discovered. You may
use English, but writing in Hebrew is much more traditional.
In our example, the last verse of the Stanza for He is:
How I long for your precepts! In your righteousness preserve my life.
Or in Hebrew: כמה אני משתוקק למצוותיך בצדקתך שמור על חיי
2. Under your signature write your keyword or key phrase (either in English or the Rivers Script).
3. Convert your keyword to a number and find its corresponding stanza from Psalm 119 the same way
you did in the basic spell outlined earlier in this booklet.
4. Write the last verse of this stanza within the double circle of the talisman (in English or Hebrew).
For example, if you have a goal of healing an ulcer, the keyword you choose might be HEALTH
HEALTH becomes 85138. Add together: 8 + 5 + 1 + 3 + 8 = 25. Reduce it: 2 + 5 = 7.
7 corresponds with the letter Zayin. We would write the last verse of that stanza within the double
circle of our talisman (in English or Hebrew).

WRITING AND TRACING THE HEBREW LETTER FORMS
T
o a magician, witch, or Pauline artist, each Hebrew letter is a powerful magical tool. By simply
writing or tracing the Hebrew letter forms, and meditating on them, you can open portals of vast
divine power for your good. Great celestial forces are locked within these letter forms.
Included in this booklet are practice sheets for each letter form, in simple block letters.
If you are artistically inclined, you may be interested in learning the letter forms as calligraphy;
however, the basic block letter forms, as given here, hold the same power as the calligraphic versions.
Work with whichever letter forms you like; it’s especially advantageous to work with the letters that are
part of any magic you are working. Practice making the forms over and over again in order to install
them deeply in your mind.
You can also writing the Angel’s names and the psalm verses included in this booklet. This practice will
make your talismans much more powerful.
If you work wand magic, such as taught in my 18 week course, A Witch’s Primer, once you have
practiced and internalized the Hebrew letter forms, you can use them in your wand magic by tracing
the letters in the air before you.
Just tracing the letter form alone while chanting or mentally repeating the name of the letter while
thinking of your desire can bring very surprising results.
The letters on the practice sheets are in a very light grey. You can print the page with the letter form
you are working on, and practice tracing the letter form on the paper, using a pen and/or your finger.
Always practice writing Hebrew letters starting on the right side of the page and working across the
page to the left.
Remember also that if a Hebrew word is spelled with English letters is read from left to right; whereas
when spelled using Hebrew characters that word is read from right to left. Don't forget this, or you may
spell your words backwards on accident.
You may want to play some music that has a gentle beat to help you keep a rhythm as you practice
tracing or writing the letters. Hebrew letter practice is also excellent as a silent meditation.
Chant, or mentally repeat the name of the letter form as you practice writing or tracing it. Focus your
mind on the letter form you are working with and let any other thoughts quietly go.
Once you feel more familiar with the letters, practice writing the names of the angels and the ending
verses from the Psalms.

HEBREW GOD NAMES
In my free booklet, How to Work The Angelic Silence, you learned a powerful method of working with
the Teaching Angels through the silent repetition of the God Names with which they are related.
You may want to practice writing these God Names, along with the Angelic Names. These names are
used quite frequently in more advanced talismans as well.
It is my sincere desire that the magic of Psalm 119 and the study of the Hebrew letter forms blesses
your life beyond measure.
Blessed be.
