I. Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, the learner will be able to:
A. Identify the different product/s or service/s being offered in the market.
B. Apply knowledge on how business viability works.
C. Be aware of the different products or services being offered in the market.

II. Subject Matter:


A. Topic/Lesson: Recognize A Potential Market
B. Reference: Entrepreneurship 12 Self-Learning Module (SLM) for Quarter 3,
pages 1-16
C. Materials/Equipment: SLMs, television set, laptop

III. Procedure:

A. Review:
The teacher will ask the students the following questions that can be found in
What’s In module 2 on page 3.

B. Motivation:
The teacher will let the students list down their needs and wants. The whole
class will discuss if their needs and wants are being offered in the market in their
community.
C. Presentation:
The teacher let the students do the activity on What’s New on page 4.
D. Analysis/Discussion:
The teachers will divide the class into 5 groups. Each group are
assigned to discuss one Information Sheet found in What Is It on page 5
to 11.
E. Abstraction/Generalization:
The teacher will ask the following questions:
1. What are the different ways in selecting the best product idea to bring
to market?
2. Why you should conduct a market analysis before starting a business?
3. How business viability works?

F. Application:
The teacher will let the students answer the activity on What I Can Do on
page 13.

IV. Evaluation:

The students will accomplish activity under Assessment on pages 14 and


15 of Module 2.

V. Assignment:

The students will do research on the importance of marketing mix in the


development of marketing strategy.
