Conceptual framework

The system is designed for gas leakage monitoring and alerts with SMS via an

Arduino micro-controller, integrates advanced sensors, and communication modules to

ensure effective gas detection and real-time alerts. The functioning of the device in

response to the detection of the gas. If the sensor detects the gas, it activates and

Arduino UNO R3 processes the output from the sensor. The systems utilize advanced

sensors that can quickly and accurately identify the release of LPG.

In this study the process involves smart systems integrate with other

technologies, such as communication modules, to alert users or authorities in real-time

when gas is running out. The equipment constantly monitors the gas content of the

cylinder and uses a GSM module to notify the consumer when the replacement needs

to be scheduled. Upon receiving confirmation, the device takes appropriate action. The

system features gas sensors to detect gas pressure, notifying the user via a GSM

modul. The system is tested with different quantities of gas and the average response

times were obtained. The results showed that the response time reduces with

concentration, meaning the higher the concentration, the shorter the time to raise the

alarm.

The effectiveness and acceptability level of LPG pressure alarm with SMS and

gas leakage detection is determined by the alarm or any other form of indicator

connected to a sensor. The indicator indicates the leakage of gas by receiving that

electrical signal. This study emphasizes the importance of sensor application and the

role of advanced materials in enhancing the performance of LPG sensors, ultimately

leading to the effective use of LPG pressure alarms.
