36. Two concentric circles are of radii 5 cm and 3 cm. Find the length of the chord of the larger circle

37. A barrel of a fountain pen, cylindrical in shape, is 7 cm long and 5 mm in diameter. A full barrel of
ink in the pen is used up on writing 3300 words on an average. How many words can be written in a
bottle of ink containing one-fifth of a litre?
43. A stable owner has four horses. He usually ties these horses with 7 m long rope to pegs at each corner
of a square shaped grass field of 20 m length, to graze in his farm. But tying with rope sometimes
results in injuries to his horses, so he decided to build fence around the area so that each horse can

including human skill and animal training are presented before the crowd. A circus tent is cylindrical
upto a height of 8 m and conical above it. The diameter of the base is 28 m and total height of tent is
18.5 m.
