OBSERVATIONS FROM THE ANALYSIS.

OBSERVATIONS.
1. Performance for the year 2022 stands at 86% without factoring in non-school
candidates (candidates from other schools).
2. The highest number of failures were in Mathematics, Science and Biology
whereas English Language did not register any failure.
3. The best quality performance was in English Language (80%) while
Mathematics, Science, Biology, Principles of Accounts, Geography, Icitonga
and Literature in English were below the average quality performance of 56%
4. Science had the highest number of candidates scoring 75% or better (14). On
the other hand English Language, Literature in English, Geography and
Agricultural Science did not register a single candidate in the same bracket.
5. Of the 165 candidates, 142 obtained school certificates, which is 86% of the
total candidature. 23 candidates obtained statement of results and 1 was
absent.

OBSERVATIONS.
6. Science had the highest total number of candidates with distinctions 19.
7. Absenteeism of candidates was across all subjects save two – Agricultural
Science and Commerce. In addition, it was most noticeable in Literature in
English and Geography with 8 and 7 absentees respectively.
8. There is need for general improvement in the quality of the results.
9. The school needs to put in place a strategic plan as a measuring and
monitoring tool for performance.
10. The is need to standardise school class lists and constantly update them. This
assists in conducting a comprehensive analysis of the performance of school.
11. Analysis by gender could not be done arising from observation 8 above.
12. The school pass rate for 2022 will act as a benchmark for the year 2023.

CONCLUSION.
The 2022 grade 12 final examinations were a total success
as the school performed above all expectations.
Special congratulations goes to all subject teachers who
performed to ensure the excellent performance achieved.
Finally, congratulations to the school administration on
providing an enabling environment for effective teaching
and learning.
