Task 1

The given illustration depicts the recycling process of plastic bottles. Generally, there are 9 steps
that can be categorized into 2 stages: collecting and manufacturing.

There are 4 steps involve in the first period. Firstly, people put plastic items into a trash can after
consuming. Then, a truck collects all of them into a container before delivering to the sorting center. The
items are being sorted based on their recyclability. Next, recyclable bottles are being compressed into
blocks as the preparation for the next stage.

Once the collecting stage is complete, blocks will be crushed into pieces by a grinder before
being washed in a water tank. Subsequently, an industrial machine is being used in order to produce
plastic pellets. Then, the pellets will be formed raw material by a heater. From that point, raw material is
being used to create goods such as clothes, bottles, pen, et cetera which then will be consumed by the
public and the cycle will be continued.
