1. Hard Drive Fragmentation


 caused by gaps created when data or programs are deleted on the hard disk. New files will
then be split and stored in different places to cover the gaps
Solution - Use the Windows Disk Defragmenter program. It scans the hard disk for split up files
and re-asdembles them.
2. Limited Hard Drive Space
 Occurs when there is a lot of data that is no longer needed or used on the hard drive. It can
cause a messy hard drive..
Solution- Use a Windows built in Disk Cleaner tool to get rid of unwanted files.

3. No power
 Usually caused by not securely plugging in the power cord into the power supply unit.
Solution - Use a tester to see if the power supply unit is putting out enough voltage
4. Spontaneous reboots
 This is when he computer constantly restarts
Solution - check if the power supply is securely plugged in on the power supply unit
5. Time keeps changing
 This is when you constantly red to eat the time on your computer. This is caused by a bad
CMOS battery.
Solution - Replace the CMOS battery with a new one of the same size.
6. Computer is slow
 Can be caused by running more than one antivirus programs
Solution - Windows Action center notifies you if there is more than one antivirus programs
running.
7. Freezing screen
 This is caused by by driver conflict
Solution - Rest the computer for a while.
8. Noisy computer
 When the computer makes noise while running. This is caused by a dirty fan.
Solution - Clean the fan using a soft brush or a soft cloth
