UNIT 13: FESTIVALS


SECTION A: GETTING STARTED – LISTEN AND READ
I. Aim:
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
- use vocabulary related to the topic “Festival”.
- name some Vietnam common festivals.
- use compound words.
- develop listening and reading skills.
II. Content:
1. Language focus:
- Vocabulary:
+Nouns: starting position, husk, judge, council.
+Verb: rub, separate, yell, fetch, participate.
- Structure:

- Word cards, pictures, cassette player, PPT file
III. Procedures:
