Medical Concerns
Encompass a wide range of issues that can affect our physical and mental well-being. This lesson
will provide an overview of common medical concerns, their causes, prevention, and treatment.

Diseases
Conditions that disrupt the normal functioning of the body, caused by various factors such as
viruses, bacteria, genetic mutations, or lifestyle choices. Examples include:
1. Infectious diseases (e.g., colds, flu, COVID-19)
2. Chronic diseases (e.g., heart disease, diabetes, cancer)

Injuries
Physical damage to the body caused by accidents, falls, sports, or other trauma. Examples
include:
1. Fractures
2. Sprains
3. Concussions

Mental Health Conditions


Psychological disorders that affect thoughts, emotions, and behavior. Examples include:
1 Depression
2 Anxiety
3 Substance abuse

Preventable Conditions
Conditions that can be avoided through healthy lifestyle choices and regular checkups. Examples
include:
