LCD/LED TV Inverter/Driver PROTECTION

What is Protection:
In Inverter/Driver circuit used retern signal for continuous switching.

That means switching IC receives feed back from back light(CCFL/LED). Any switching circuit after
receiving feed back only it will work continuous. If circuit not receiving feed back signal, IC will stop
switching work.
If output section failed, for sefty purpos with the help of feedback total circuit will goes to no working status.
this one call Protection.
Why need to remove Protection:
If any abnormal in inverter/driver section whole circuit will be in not working status.
result is no backlight condition. To find out where is problem in inverter/driver section, we need to remove
protection temporarily. removing protection means avoiding feedback signal & force to do work continuous
switching. After remove protection, inverter/driver will produce high voltage(HV) always. here we can easily
analyse where is problem. if with HV also no backlight means, CCFL/LED probem. If driver circuit failed to
produce HV after remove protection, means driver section problem.

How to remove Protection:


making small altration in driving circuit we can remove protection. for that we have to find out driver ic
pin details. we need any one of these signals.
1: SST
2: TIMER
3: FT
4: SCP
5: CP or CT extra.
By varying any one of these signal voltage, we can remove protection. Means adding LED(Light Emiting
Diode) or rasistor or short to Gnd. it will be depend on driver ic.
