B. As a future educator, cite and discuss ways to make assessment more motivating for
your students.

As a future educator, these are my way to make assessment more motivating for my future
students:
1. Give Clear Goals: Make sure students understand what they are supposed to learn
and why it matters. This helps them see the purpose of the assessment.

2. Use Varied Assessment Types: Instead of only using tests, include projects,
presentations, and group work. Different types of assessments can make learning
more interesting and fun.

3. Offer Choices: Let students choose how they want to be assessed. This could mean
picking between writing an essay, creating a video, or building a model. Choice
increases their investment in the work.

4. Provide Timely Feedback: Give feedback quickly so students can see what they did
well and where they can improve. This helps them learn and stay engaged.

5. Incorporate Self-Assessment: Allow students to assess their own work. This

encourages them to think critically about their learning and take more responsibility.

6. Celebrate Progress: Recognize and celebrate small improvements and efforts. This
can be done through verbal praise, certificates, or class displays.

7. Create a Safe Environment: Make sure students feel safe to take risks and make
mistakes. A supportive environment encourages them to try harder without fear of
failure.

8. Relate to Real Life: Show how what they are learning is relevant to real life. This makes
assessments feel more meaningful and important.
