Good Evening . I'm Darshan Patel , currently pursuing B.

Tech in computer science


engineering at VIT University.
I have worked on the frontend technologies angular and react.
Recently in the past month for an edtech startup , as a part of mini hackathon
they gave time of 8 hr and make an website that coordinate with the student when
the teacher flips the page , there in small span time I learn the WebSocket for
two way communication and I made use of react framework and the react-pdf , and
socket.io .

An contribution which I am proud of is that as an project under faculty me team of


2 member made the Faculty Finder app which will be used by student of university.
When the faculty gave the project under the subject software engineering , like to
avoid the hard work we could have use the standard project such as cafe
management ... that as per the deadline of the course and the documentation needed
for that would be the easiest . I thought to think out of box , and leave comfort
zone .

So I brought with the idea that there was an app made by the student that shows the
attendance , marks , timetable of the student. There were no information that if
any student want to do the research under the faculty can get their specialisation
and interest. Information was available in the college website but it was scattered
and tiring to search each faculty name and then get to that detail and even in my
college at the starting of the semester we have the choice to select the faculty
and the course that I like to study . So by accumulating all the information under
one place and mapping with the tag of the Research area, there is faculty strength
is 800+ . This was the basic idea I thought of the project and we procced , with
the faculty improvement sir told to include the landline number , email , education
detail . And a feature was that in that in an faculty cabin area there are 30+
faculty sitting in that , so while visiting first time the student need to search
with every name and even when fresher come to they don't know the blueprint of the
cabin area. So though the app I made would easy and at end the faculty told that
when an student need to meet the cabin , enable the route also , so with sir
discussed that we can take any api of the map .
But sir disagreed with it , so as the graph algorithm of A* that I studied in the
course so I wrote the basic that give the route between two place mark that we
mentioned in it . For this idea I got Certificate of merit from the faculty.

Sir this was my introduction and the amazed that flobiz have taken 44M as funding
and from sep,2021 that was Series B round . was the last funding round.

Sir in my research I found that the app download of the mybill book are inc at rate
of 11.5% but the web traffic is dec by -14% . And then in order to find the cause I
login in the website of mybill book , with dummy data , and I found out that left
site of the dashboard which has the dark UI . And my research majorly usage of
website comes from the which have age of the 40 to 60-65 , and an add on detail to
it was that , ex if pharmacy store is there then when the direction at which the
customer are facing is in the opposite direction and the Desktop is placed , the
dark UI there could be slight discomfort while seeing the content in the right hand
side of the dark UI . And sir since the mybillbook symbol is in the orange color ,
so I think that at company identity it should be of the orange color . The same as
apple did they have plain white color only UI across all the store and their
webiste, and when we see it resemble the white with apple.

And another bug which I discovered was that the when the use clicks on the setting
it the left side it changes to the white . There is no uniformity in the UI.

Sir I would be excited to work as both SDE intern and product intern also.
Sir skills are that I don't panic in the situation and try to find the next best
alternative.
and product management , as before to code I try to think , when user uses my
feature , how much it would be satisfied from it.
