05 Lifting
In order to prevent damaging during transportation, DRY NC
bushing is provided in a durable package which is supported by
hard protection foam inside from two ends. Lifting of bushing
from transport crate must be handled carefully.
• Remove half part of protection foam couple
• Screw eyebolts directly into upper and lower end

of conductors
• Tie a textile rope properly
CAUTION: Vertical lifting is recommended. Horizontal
Eye bolts and ropes are recommended especially for 24-36 kV lifting is not recommended as silicone sheds may be

Other bushings can be lifted out from the box without eyebolts
by using the space between conductor and foam. CAUTION: Bushing must not be pulled or handled from
silicone sheds as silicone sheds may be damaged.

position must be handled carefully as shown in
Figure 04.

Ensure that proper tank hole diameter W given in Table 04 is

followed. Studs for mounting of bushing must be adjusted
properly along pitch diameter.

Clean gasket surface on transformer and place the gasket

provided.

Make sure that the crane can lift the bushing.

NOTE: Carefully lift the bushing from the floor. Refer to

the net weight in Table 03.

05
Lift the bushing to a position above the transformer.

Apply 30 Nm torque to fix nuts on the flange.

Align and place bushing with the hole in the transformer.
