Non-fiction writing and reading is very important for a student to learn how to navigate. As we grow older,
the majority of our day-to-day reading or writing is non-fiction. As students approach high school, the
ACT, SAT, and tests of this nature are primarily non-fiction based. Becoming an active citizen in our
country will require a student to be able to analyze real-world information. The classroom is a great place
for them to practice and hone in on these skills.
