custom English speaking plan for one

week
Here’s a custom English speaking plan for one week, designed to improve your speaking
skills step by step. Each day focuses on a different aspect of speaking and includes
structured practice to make it easy to follow.

Weekly English Speaking Plan

Day 1: Building Confidence

1. Topic: Introduce Yourself

○ Speak for 3 minutes about yourself. Include:

■ Your name, where you live, what you do, and your hobbies.
○ Example:
"My name is Mitas. I live in [your city/village]. I am learning English because
I want to improve my skills. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies and
practicing speaking English."
○ Repeat 3 times, recording yourself, and listen for improvements.
2. New Words:
Learn and use 3–5 words related to introductions (e.g., "hobby," "goal," "practice").
Use them in sentences.

3. Shadowing Exercise:

○ Watch a short video (1–2 minutes) on YouTube about introductions (e.g.,

“How to Introduce Yourself in English”).
○ Pause and repeat each sentence aloud.

Day 2: Daily Life Vocabulary

1. Topic: Describe Your Day

○ Talk about what you did yesterday and what you plan to do today.
○ Example:
"Yesterday, I went to the library to study English. I read a book and practiced
speaking. Today, I will watch an English video and learn 5 new words."
2. Focus on Tenses:
Practice using past and future tenses.

○ Example:
"I ate breakfast at 8 AM."
"I will go for a walk in the evening."
3. Role Play Practice:

○ Imagine you’re telling your daily routine to a friend.

○ Example: "Hey, how was your day?" Speak both sides of the conversation.

Day 3: Speaking About Favorites

1. Topic: Talk About Your Favorite Things

○ Favorite food, movie, place, or activity.

○ Example:
"My favorite movie is Chronicles of Narnia. I like it because the story is
exciting and teaches good lessons."
2. Learn 3 Adjectives:
Practice words like "delicious," "amazing," "beautiful."
Use them in sentences about your favorites.

3. Q&A Practice:

○ Prepare questions to ask yourself. Example:

■ "Why do I like this?"
■ "When did I first try it?"
○ Answer out loud.

Day 4: Real-Life Conversations

1. Topic: Ordering Food at a Restaurant

○ Example Dialogue:
"Waiter: Hello, what would you like to order?
You: I’d like a sandwich and a coffee, please."
2. Role Play Practice:
Pretend to order food or ask for help in a shop. Practice both the customer's and
waiter’s lines.

3. New Phrases:

○ Learn and practice: "Can I have...?" "I’d like..." "How much does it cost?"

Day 5: Storytelling Practice

1. Topic: Tell a Short Story

○ Choose a memory or make up a story.

○ Example:
"Last year, I went to a beautiful park with my family. We had a picnic, played
games, and took many pictures."
2. Use Connectors:

○ Practice words like "and," "then," "because," "after that."

○ Example: "We went to the park because the weather was sunny."
3. Record and Reflect:

○ Record yourself telling the story.

○ Listen and identify areas to improve.

Day 6: Expressing Opinions

1. Topic: Share Your Opinion

○ Example Questions:
■ "What do you think about global warming?"
■ "Do you like learning English? Why or why not?"
2. Practice Phrases:

○ "In my opinion..."
○ "I think that..."
○ "I agree/disagree because..."
3. Debate Practice:

○ Imagine someone disagrees with you. Practice responding.

○ Example:
"I think learning English is important because it helps with communication."
"Why do you think so?"

Day 7: Review and Free Practice

1. Review:

○ Summarize everything you practiced this week. Talk about what you learned
and your progress.
2. Free Speaking Practice:

○ Pick any topic you like and speak for 5 minutes without stopping.
○ Example: Talk about your English course, your favorite book, or your future
goals.
3. Feedback:

○ Record your free speaking session. Listen to it and write down:

■ One thing you did well.
■ One area to improve.

Notes for Consistency:

● Spend 15–20 minutes per day on these activities.

● Keep a notebook to track new words and phrases.
● If you have a partner, involve them in role-play activities.
