DYEWELL-002

Product Information
Dyewell-002 is a levelling agent and dyeing accelerator with diffusion
property for high temperature polyester dyeings. Dyewell-002 accelerates the
diffusion of disperse dyestuffs into the polyester fabric and hence enables a
good dyestuff pick-up.

General Characteristics
Physical appearance : Pale yellow hazy viscous liquid
Ionic nature : Nonionic
pH of 1% solution : 7 +/- 1
Miscibility : Miscible with water
Compatibility : Compatible with cationic, anionic and
nonionic products
Stability : Stable to dilute acids and dilute alkalies

Application
1. In Exhaust dyeing of polyester tops, yarn, fibre & fabrics
Set the bath with
0.5 - 0.7 % Dyewell-002
0.5 - 1.0 g/l Saracid-RS (Acid buffer)

Circulate at 60 deg.C for 5-10 min., add dyestuff


dispersion, circulate for 5-10 min. Check and adjust pH
to 4.5 - 5.5 and dye as per usual method.

2. For correction of faulty dyeings & levelling


1 - 2 % Dyewell-002
1 - 2 % Saracid-RS (Acid buffer)

10-20 % dyestuff of the original recipe
pH 4.5 - 5.5
Treat at 130 deg.C for 40-60 min.
Drain and reduction clear.

Precautions
Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from
heat and direct sunlight.Storage temperature
should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly
to avoid contact with air and moisture.

Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if


stored under controlled conditions.
