New production of Group III Lube Base Oil Products in Melaka Refinery requires the residue plant to

increase feeding capacity of residue. The plant has upgraded pumping and cooling capacity by
installing a new pump P1112C and air fin cooler E1129A. 1.1 Background of the Loop Figure 1.1
