Dear, Prof Mark Guerrero,

I hope this letter finds you well. As a students who’s very passionate about community engagement and
entrepreneurship, we are delighted to propose an innovative community service/outreach project which is
titled “Start Hustle: Unleashing Fresh Business Minds.” Rooted in the belief that entrepreneurship is a
catalyst for societal transformation and economic progress, this project is designed to instill the
principles, skills, and mindset essential for success in the entrepreneurial sphere. By fostering a culture of
innovation, resilience, and collaboration, “START HUSTLE: UNLEASHING FRESH BUSINESS
MINDS.” Aspires to ignite a spark of creativity and ambition in participants, propelling them towards
realizing their entrepreneurial dreams and contributing meaningfully to the socio-economic fabric of their
community.

A. PREPARATORY STAGE:

1. SELECTION OF BARANGAY OR COMMUNITY:


OBJECTIVE: our goal is to identify a community or barangay that shares our enthusiasm for
entrepreneurship and business education. as a team, we will conduct a research and meetings to identify
potential communities that align with the objectives of our project.

2. SUBMISSION OF LETTER OF INTENT:


OBJECTIVE: we aim to secure official approval for the event from relevant authorities.
ACTIVITIES: We will collaboratively draft a detailed letter of intent, outlining the project’s design,
rationale, objectives, evaluation, methods, and proposed schedule. This letter will be submitted to the
college dean, seeking endorsement and guidance for the successful execution of our project.

3. STUDENT WAIVER COLLECTION:


OBJECTIVE: to ensure legal compliance and participant safety, we must collect waivers from all
participating students/groupmates.

ACTIVITIES: working closely with the OFFICE OF STUDENT AFFAIRS (OSAS), our team will
distribute waiver forms to our groupmates and ensure the timely collection of signed waivers before the
project begins.
B. IMPLEMENTATION STAGE:

1. IDENTIFICATION AND DRESS CODE:


OBJECTIVE: we all aim to maintain a professional and cohesive appearance among the participants.
ACTIVITIES: all of our team members will be required to wear prescribed school identification and
college attire throughout the project. Emphasizing proper decorum will contribute to the overall
professionalism and effectiveness of our project.

2. LOGISTICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

OBJECTIVE: Efficient management of transportation, communication, and meal logistics is crucial for
the success of the event.

ACTIVITIES: Our team will collaborate to manage expenses and plan logistics in alignment with the pre-
approved activity design. Clear communication and meticulous planning will ensure a seamless
experience for all participants.

3. COMMUNICATION AND SAFETY MEASURES:

OBJECTIVE: Effective communication channels and safety protocols are essential for a successful event.

ACTIVITIES: Assigned team leaders will be responsible for facilitating communication with the
community, while ensuring that all safety measures are implemented and adhered to throughout the
project.

4. SPOT MONITORING AND FOLLOW UPS

OBJECTIVE: Monitoring progress and addressing issues promptly will help ensure the success of the
entrepreneurship project.

ACTIVITIES: Our team will conduct spot monitoring sessions to evaluate the progress of the project,
with follow-up assessments to ensure that the program is meeting its objectives and making a positive
impact.
5. CONTINGENCY PLANNING

OBJECTIVE: We aim to ensure the continuity of the project in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

ACTIVITIES: Our team will develop contingency plans to address any potential challenges or faculty
absences, ensuring that the project can proceed smoothly and effectively.

C. POST-ACTIVITY EVALUATION STAGE:

1. STUDENT REPORTING

OBJECTIVE: Documenting the community service experience through narrative reports will provide
valuable insights and feedback.

ACTIVITIES: Students will be required to submit narrative reports with pictorial documentation within
the specified timeframe, contributing to the overall evaluation and assessment of the Start Hustle
program.

2. FACULTY EVALUATION

OBJECTIVE: Evaluating student performance using rubrics and reflection papers will help assess the
effectiveness of the workshop.

ACTIVITIES: Faculty members will evaluate narrative reports using assessment tools, with results
contributing to students' grades and providing valuable feedback for future improvement.
3. EXIT CONFERENCE AND CERTIFICATES WITH TOKEN OF APPRECIATION

OBJECTIVE: Assessing the impact of the entrepreneurship workshop through an exit conference will
help gather feedback and insights from community leaders.

ACTIVITIES: Our team will conduct an exit conference to evaluate the workshop's impact and issue
certificates of completion to students. Additionally, certificates of appreciation will be presented to the
cooperating community or institution as a token of gratitude for their support.

CONCLUSION:

As a team of 25 dedicated members, we are committed to making Start Hustle: Unleashing Fresh
Business Minds a resounding success. Through meticulous planning, effective implementation, and
thorough evaluation, we aim to empower individuals with the skills and mindset needed to succeed in the
world of entrepreneurship. Together, we believe that Start Hustle has the potential to make a meaningful
and lasting impact on our local community, driving positive change and fostering economic growth and
prosperity.
