Christites are not allowed to participate in group events. Only mono
acting and mime duo is allowed.

Contingent Rules:
A maximum of 2 contingents can be sent by an institution
A contingent must participate in all 7 events
The total discounted registration fee for a contingent is 2500 INR
and the overall prize pool is 87,000 INR
When registering, a contingent must assign a Contingent POC for all
updates
The best-performing contingent will be awarded the Best Overall
Contingent trophy.
I. Mono Acting
Language:
1. Category 1 - English (5-8% in regional language is allowed)
2. Category 2 - Kannada
Duration: 3+1 minutes (including entry and exit).
Performance: Solo, Self-directed and self-written acts only,
performance can be in the form of a monologue or mono-act style.
Props: Basic props and appropriate costumes are encouraged for better
quality performance.
Background Music: Permitted; music must be submitted to the tech team
beforehand.
Mic Provision: 1 hand mic and 1 standing mic will be provided.
Participants are not allowed to bring an accompanist for any instruments
or music.
No Government, Governmental orders, Political parties, or any person can
be targeted directly or indirectly. Mocking of political alliances and any
other controversial/offensive ideas will not be tolerated.
Vulgarity in movements and costume will NOT be entertained.
Usage of fire, sharp objects, liquid and any sort of projectile on stage is
NOT allowed.

II. Street Theatre
Duration: 8+2 minutes (including entry/exit).
Participants: Minimum 12 & Maximum 20.
Language: English Thematic (dialogues and narration of the play should
be told only in English). Jingles and songs can be in any Indian language.
10ft is the maximum permitted height for any formations during the
street play.
No Government, Governmental orders, Political parties or any person
can be targeted directly or indirectly. Mocking of political alliances and
any other controversial and offensive ideas will not be tolerated.
No Religious slokas, bhajans, or any verses from the scriptures can be
used.
Vulgarity in movements and costume will NOT be entertained.
Usage of fire, sharp objects, liquid and any sort of projectile in the
arena is NOT allowed.
Scripts need to be submitted by 9th January 2025.

III. Proscenium
Theatre
Duration: 35+5 minutes (This includes first stage setup and last stage
clearance. Teams are expected to clean and clear the stage after their
performance)
Participants: Maximum of 20 – including backstage crew
Language: English/Hindi/Kannada
Teams are allowed to do originals or adaptations with due credits.
Provisions:
4 chairs and 1 table will be provided. All other settings need to be brought by
the performing team.
2 hanging mics, 3 floor mics, and 2 cordless mics will be provided. Any further
requirement for instrument plugin etc, should be intimated 5 days before the
event.
Music: Live music and the usage of instruments are allowed. Teams should
bring their Laptops and Pen Drives for any projection or audio requirements.
Lights: Basic lighting will be provided. Teams will NOT be allowed to bring in
external lights.
Usage of any type of powdered colors and liquid paints on stage are prohibited.
No Government, Governmental orders, Political parties or any person
can be targeted directly or indirectly. Mocking of political alliances
and any other controversial and offensive ideas will not be tolerated.
Vulgarity in movements and costume will NOT be entertained.
Usage of fire, sharp objects, liquid and any sort of projectile on

must be on stage)
Sound: Recorded music, live music and SFX may be used on or off stage.
Minimal instruments are recommended if live. Teams should submit the
audio as per their requirement.
No Government, Governmental orders, Political parties or any person can be
targeted directly or indirectly. Mocking of political alliances and any other
controversial/offensive ideas will not be tolerated.
Vulgarity in movements and costume will NOT be entertained. Usage of fire
and water on stage is NOT allowed.
Mime Elements:
1. Use of props is NOT allowed.
2. Use of narration (live or recorded) is NOT allowed.
3. Mime painting can be done as per the team’s creative choice keeping the
traditional Mime elements in mind.
4. No restrictions in mime costume regarding the colors. Vulgarity and
obscenity in costumes is strictly prohibited.

Minimum props are allowed (Stage production and background set up is not
allowed however situational props as per the need of the script are allowed)
No Government, Governmental orders, Political parties or any person can be
targeted directly or indirectly. Mocking of political alliances and any other
controversial/offensive ideas will not be tolerated.
Vulgarity in movements and costume will NOT be entertained. Usage of fire
and water on stage is NOT allowed.

VII. SHORT
FILMMAKING
Duration: Minimum- 6 minutes, Maximum- 8 minutes (Intro and credits, etc
should be all included in the time limit)
Participants: Minimum 5 members and Maximum 15 members per team
including the camera person, video editors, directors, production team, etc.
Only students of the respective college are allowed to be part of the short
film.
Language: English only (10-15% usage of regional languages is allowed based
on the need of the film premise, given that subtitles are included for the
same)
Mobile phone-shot and camera films both are allowed.
In addition to the theme, certain elements will be given to the members
that must be included into the scenes of the film to ensure that it is
entirely a new production and not a repeated one. (For eg., dialogues, props
etc.)
Credits with role titles should be included in the movie (at any point, as per
the team’s creativity)
Criteria for judgment broadly will be around: Editing, BGM, Minute Color
Grading, Story, Script and Screenplay, Acting, and Cinematography.
Display of substances like alcohol, alcohol bottles, and smoking items like
cigarettes, cigars, vapes, etc. is NOT allowed.
No Government, Governmental orders, Political parties or any person can
be targeted directly or indirectly. Mocking of political alliances and any
other controversial and offensive ideas will not be tolerated.

General Rules

Multiple entries are allowed from one college for individual events.
For group literature events only 2 groups per college is allowed.
Judges decision will be considered as final for any event

JAM
Individual Event
The event happens in multiple rounds and is based on elimination.
Just-A-Minute (JAM) is an individual event where participants must speak on a given topic for
one minute without hesitation, repetition, or deviation.
Points are awarded for seconds spoken, non-errors, quick thinking, eloquence, and presence of
mind.
The topic for each round will be given by the JAM Master on spot.
Standard JAM rules apply.
Dumb-Charades
3 members per team (1 person to guess and 2 people to act, based on the
team’s choice) Spelling, rhyming, splitting, codes, etc. are not allowed.
The rounds and charades prompts can be anything like movies, characters,
songs, phrases, situations, etc.
The final round will be given at the judges' discretion.

Debate
Individual event.
Topics are announced a day before the Prelims round.
Speaking and Rebuttal Time: 4 mins + 1 min non-parliamentary style of debate.
Usage of notes will be as per judge’s discretion.
Participants should be prepared for both, for and against the motion.
Rules for the Final round will be given at the judges' discretion.
Pot-Pourri

3 members per team (on spot team-making is also allowed).


The event will consist of multiple rounds, each focusing on different
literary activities. (Examples of rounds include quizzes, spell bee,
crosswords, heads up, extempore, turncoat and more.) Make your team
accordingly.
Points can be cumulative at the end of the final round or based on
elimination at each round, at the judges' discretion.
Points will be awarded based on accuracy, creativity, speed, and adherence
to the task guidelines.
B-Plan Pitching
This event challenges participants to tackle real-life issues like pollution, boosting
public safety, improving waste management, or enhancing access to public
transport. They have to focus on a specific problem statement and the teams have
to come up with unique, practical solutions. The task involves preparing a
comprehensive PowerPoint presentation that outlines the solution in the form of a
new product or service, creating financial plans to demonstrate feasibility, and
developing a marketing strategy to ensure successful implementation and a 5-
minute pitch to the judges.

Task at Hand: As the CXO of the company you are required to formulate:

1. Devise a phase wise implementation plan.


2. A detailed organizational structure.
3. Strategies to recruit people at all levels of the organization for the project.
4. Prepare relevant marketing strategies relating to how you’ll attract customers.
5. The sources of funds and cost breakdown of the project.
6. Include the USP, competitor analysis and other relevant strategies.
Deliverables:

1. A Power Point Presentation of not more than 10 slides.


2. An excel sheet with all the necessary financials.
3. Any creatives, such as posters and videos, which you deem necessary.

General Guidelines:

Kindly mention the team’s name at the end of the document and rename the file with your team name.
The ppt must be in .ppt/.pptx/pdf format
Use of ChatGPT or any AI tool is not allowed and if found, the team will be disqualified.
Participants must have a stable internet connection and a well-functioning laptop
The judge’s decision is deemed final and questioning from the team’s end is discouraged.
Business plans should be submitted by teams and the team can consist of students in size 3 maximum.
Participants are required to prepare the slides and other documents beforehand and only pitching the plan
will take place in college.
Creative Writing
Individual Participation
English is the only medium of language.
Vulgarity, obscenity and inappropriate language will not be tolerated

1. Short Story (Duration: 1 hour; Minimum: 500 words Maximum: 750 words) – A picture prompt will be
given on the spot.
2. Essay (Duration: 1 hour; Minimum: 1000 words, Maximum: 1500 words) - Topic will be given on the
spot.
3. Poetry (Duration: 1 hour; Format: 4 Stanzas with 4 lines each) - Themes will be given on the spot.

Air Crash/ Ship-Wreck


Individual Event
Participants are assigned a character at random and put in a situation depicting a crashing
ship/Plane.
The judge is the captain and based on the case presented by the participant, the captain decides
whether to give the participant the last lifejacket on the lifeboat/Plane or not.
1 Minute will be given to think/prepare for the topic
No writing allowed.
1+1 minute will be given to present your case (1 minute to speak and 1 minute to answer the captain’s
question.
Art Events
General Rules

Pencil sketching
Individual event.
Only the following materials are allowed: pencils, charcoal, and erasers.
No color media (e.g., markers, paints) to be used.
Participants must bring their own sketching supplies.
Sketching paper will be provided to the participants in the finals.
There will be a prompt given as a topic for both prelims and finals.
Time limit: 1 hour 30 seconds
Reel Making
Individual event.
Maximum duration for the reel is 60 to 90 Seconds.
Explicit or vulgar content won't be entertained and accepted.
Plagiarized work will be rejected.
Topic will be given 1 days prior to the event.
Only mobile phones to be used for reel making and only basic editing allowed and voiceovers are
allowed with BGM.
No VFX effects will be allowed and stock footage will not be allowed.
Shoot to be done only inside the campus.
Submissions should be in the form of "slot number_theme"
Painting
Individual event
Theme will be given on the spot.
Any kind of paints are allowed to be used.
Time: 1:30 hours
The Painting should be original and have not been published elsewhere.
The participants will carry their own water bottle, drawing and painting material, and rough cloth for
cleaning.

Pot Art
Individual Event
Theme will be given on the spot.
Use of Glitter, mirror pieces, plaster of Paris, chalk powder, hammer chisels and other sharp
instruments are not allowed.
Pots will be provided
Time: 1:30 hours
Photography
Themes will be announced 1 days prior to the date of the event and photos must be in JPEG format
only.
Each student should submit 2 photos.
Basic editing such as cropping of the photos and Colour Correction can be done and any editing that
affects the genuineness of photos will be directly disqualified and advanced editing is prohibited
Submissions should be in the form of "slot number_theme"
Only DSLR photos are allowed.

For all in-station Bangalore Colleges submissions will be offline and Outstation Colleges the submission
will be through college classroom
Logo Designing
Individual event
Online event
The Theme will be announced three days before the date of the event and submissions will be through
google classroom.
Every student participant can submit only one entry. Multiple entries from the same participant will
not be considered and will lead to outright rejection.
The Logo should be submitted in .jpeg or .png or .pdf format only.
The Logo should be designed using colors (Not Grayscale or Black & White).
The Logo should be designed on a digital platform only. The winner of the competition shall be
required to submit the design in open file format (EPS/CDR/PSD).
The size of the final design may vary from 4 cm x 4 cm to 60 cm x 60 cm.
Participants must keep the original editable/ open file format ready – as it shall be required to be
submitted later for the winning entry.
Submissions will be through google classroom.
Submissions should be in the form of "slot number_theme"
Every entry must be accompanied by a brief write-up/ explanation in a maximum of 150 words. This
write-up has to be submitted along with the proposed logo. The write-up should elaborate on the
theme and concept behind the logo.

Battle of the Bands (Western)


Time: 10+2 minutes (including setup and clearance time).
In case of failure to adhere to the allotted time limit, output volumes will be cut and there would be
deduction of points/minus extended (discretion of the judges)
Minimum of 5 and maximum of 10 members per team.
No backing tracks, Samples and Sequences are allowed.
A standard 5-piece Drum kit will be provided. (Departments have to arrange for Intra- deanery
competitions)
Growling is NOT allowed.
Band must have at least one vocalist and not more than three vocalists.
Individual Prizes for Best Original Composition, Best Vocalist, Best Keyboardist, Best Guitarist, Best
Bassist, Best Drummer.
If the team is performing its own composition, then a copy of the lyrics, in English, must be submitted
at the time of registration on campus and the lyrics will be checked for vulgarity and profanity.
Failure to adhere to the given rules of this event will result in disqualification.
Acapella (Group)
Time: 10 + 2 mins. (Entry to Exit Stage, Including setup)
In case of failure to adhere to the allotted time limit, output volumes will be cut and there would
be deduction of points/min (discretion of the judges)
Both Indian and Western allowed
Minimum of 5 and Maximum of 10 members per team (Including a Beatboxer)
Beatboxer not compulsory
Individual prizes: Best original composition, best vocalist, best arrangement and best beatboxer.
No instruments or Backup Tracks allowed for Acapella.
Indian Group
Time: 10+2 minutes (including setup and clearance time).

Team Size: 5 - 10 members
A copy of lyrics must be submitted if the performance includes an original composition of the
band/group.
If the lyrics are in any of the Indian languages, a copy of the literal translation of the lyrics in
English must be submitted at the time of registration on campus.
Lyrics will be checked for vulgarity and profanity.
Performances should only be in any of the Indian languages.
Growling is not allowed; any pre-recorded music/sound or sequenced samples are not allowed.
Bands/Groups must include a minimum of one Indian melodic or percussion instrument.
Western singing (solo)
Time limit: 4+1 mins.
Best Original Composition will be awarded.
Only one Accompanist allowed.
Use only Grand Piano tone for keyboard or Acoustic Guitar for accompanying.

Requirements
Participants are required to bring their own gaming devices and headsets.
All participants must adhere to the tournament schedule and arrive on time for check-in
Each player is responsible for ensuring their gaming equipment is fully charged and in proper working
condition.
Participants must agree to abide by the tournament rules and regulations, including fair play and
sportsmanship guidelines.

Dates/Days
The event will be conducted over a period of 3-5 days. The schedule will be conveyed to
participants before the commencement of the tournament.
Venue
The event will take place at classrooms/labs, Block II.
The announcement of any venue changes will be made in advance.

Mobile requirements
Operating System: Android 5.1 or higher, iOS 9.0 or higher.
Storage: At least 2 GB of free storage space.
RAM: Minimum 2 GB RAM.

Rules and Guidelines


General Guidelines:

By participating, participants agree to abide by the rules. Event details are subject to change without
prior notice. The organizers have the final authority on all matters, including the discretion to
disqualify any participant or team without justification.

Rules:

No cheating, hacking, or use of exploits will be tolerated.


Respectful behavior towards other players and organizers is mandatory.
Any disputes will be resolved by the event head, whose decisions are final.
Bans:
Operator skills : H.I.V.E, Reactor core.

Scorestreaks : Swarm, VTOL, Chopper Gunner.
Guns : NA45, SKS.
Lethal tactical (can be used only in Search and Destroy) : C4, Molotov, Thermite, Trip Mine.
Non Lethal Tactical Gear : Heartbeat Sensor.

Rounds and Game Formats


Game Modes and Maps:

Search and Destroy Maps: Firing Range, Raid, Standoff, Crossfire, Crash, Summit, and Highrise.
Hard point Maps: Firing Range, Raid, Standoff, Crossfire, Crash, Summit, and Nuketown.
Domination Maps: Firing Range, Raid, Standoff, Crossfire, Crash, Summit, and Nuketown.

Tournament Format:

Game modes will be determined by a coin toss.


Each mode follows the respective rank rules:
Hardpoint and Domination: 150 points.
Search and Destroy: First to win 6 rounds is the winner.
WiFi Details:

WiFi will be provided by the college.

Game Mode and Map Selection

The order in which the game modes (Domination, Hardpoint, Search & Destroy) are played will be
determined by a coin toss. The team winning the toss will have the privilege of choosing the initial
game mode, with subsequent modes alternating between teams.
The team that loses the toss in game mode selection will have the opportunity to choose the map
for the selected game mode. Map selection must be communicated before the match begins.
Maps for each game mode will be predetermined and communicated to teams in advance.
Teams will alternate selecting sides for each map.

Team Composition

Teams will consist of 5 players each.


Each team member must have a valid Call of Duty Mobile account.
Match Reporting:

Teams are responsible for reporting their match results promptly to tournament organizers.

The room ID and password will be shared directly with participants before the match begins.

Tournament Rules and Regulation:
Each team should have 5 members (no substitutes).
The tournament will consist of 4 stages:
1. Swiss Stage
2. Play-ins
3. Playoffs
4. Grand Finals.

Map Selection :
1. Swiss Stage: Maps will be picked randomly.
2. Play-ins, Playoffs, and Grand Finals: Maps will be selected using a pick-and-ban system.

Swiss Stage:
All 12 teams will be randomly drawn into 6 matches.
Best of 1 (BO1) matches will be played.
Qualification Process:
1. Winning teams advance to the Play-ins.
2. Losing teams will be eliminated.
Play-ins:
Best of 1 (BO1) matches will be played.
The winning teams from this stage will advance to the Playoffs.
Losing teams will be eliminated.

Playoffs:
Best of 1 (BO1) matches will be played.
The final 4 teams will play in 2 semifinals, randomly drawn. The winners of the semifinals will qualify
for the Grand Finals.
Losing teams will be eliminated.

Grand Finals:
Best of 1 (BO1) match will be played.
The team that wins the match will be declared the winner of the tournament.

Code of Conduct:
A proper Code of Conduct must be maintained by all participants.
Rule Modifications: The rules and schedules are subject to change at the
discretion of the organizing committee.

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Tournament Step into the arena and showcase your team's

demonstrate your skills, and seize the chance to win exciting prizes.

Requirements
Participants are required to bring their own gaming devices and headsets.
All participants must adhere to the tournament schedule and arrive on time for check-in.
Players must ensure their gaming equipment is fully charged and properly working.
Participants must agree to abide by the tournament rules and regulations, including fair play and
sportsmanship guidelines.

Dates/Days
The event will be conducted over 1-2 days, depending on the number of teams. The schedule will be
communicated to participants before the tournament starts.

Venue
The event will take place in Classrooms/Labs, Block II.
Any venue changes will be announced in advance.
Mobile Requirements
Game Version: Latest version 3.2.0
Storage: At least 2 GB of free storage space.
RAM: Minimum 2 GB RAM.
(Note: Any issues in the devices that cause lags or character freezes during the game are not the
responsibility of the management.)

Any disputes will be resolved by the event head, whose decisions are final.
Rounds and Game Formats
Maps: The main maps prioritised are: 1. Erangel 2. Miramar 3. Sanhok 4. Vikendi (Only played if
75% of players agree to it; otherwise, one of the other three maps will be selected.)

Tournament Format:
If 16 or fewer teams register: Six games will be played with different maps (or some maps may be
repeated).
If more than 16 teams register: Teams will be split into groups, and the top teams will proceed to
the next round, depending on the number of teams.

Wi-Fi Details: Provided by the college.

Game Mode:
First map: Erangel
Followed by: Miramar, Sanhok, and player-option Vikendi (if agreed).
No Pauses: Once the game starts, no pauses will be entertained.
No Intentional Team Assistance: No player may help another team intentionally. If caught, the team
will be disqualified.
Team composition
Teams must have a minimum of 3 players. Two-player teams will not be allowed.
Each team member must have a valid BGMI account.
All matches will be played offline.
(Note: Any unregistered player participating in any team will lead to immediate disqualification.)

Match Reporting
Teams must promptly report their match results to the organizers.
Players must take screenshots at the end of the game to present in case of disputes.
Each team will join the room in their designated slots as assigned by the admins.
Schedule: Announced 2-3 days prior to the tournament. No changes will be made unless an issue arises
from the management.

Mode: Third Person Perspective (TPP).
Playzone shrink: x1.1.
Redzone & Flareguns: Disabled.
Weapons: x2
Scopes & Magazines: x2.
Aim Assist & Sound Visualization: Off.
Switching between TPP and FPP: Disallowed. Violators will face a fine of 10
points.
Scoring System
1. 1st place: 15 points.
2. 2nd place: 12 points.
3. 3rd place: 10 points.
4. 4th place: 8 points.
5. 5th place: 6 points.
6. 6th place: 4 points.
7. 7th place: 2 points.
8. 8th-12th places: 1 point each.
9. 13th-16th places: 0 points.

Tie-Breaking Criteria:
1. Most chicken dinners.
2. Placement points.
3. Finish points.

The tournament will go on a single knockout basis with the final being played on aggregate.
In case of a tie the match will go on with basic extra time and penalty settings according to the game.
