As many others on this item have noted, the unit failed. I was able to replace the power supply myself with
eBay item number 371137849440. This also added flashing. The new power supply has a two year
warranty. Please be careful when replacing the power supply. Not any power supply will work. Also be
aware of that it is a very delicate procedure when you remove the boots so that you don’t break the leads
to the tubes.

I've purchased eight of these neon open signs from the same seller over the last three or four years. It's a
shame because I really like the size, color and brightness of the signs, they are great for retail and easy to
see through the window from far away. The real neon and glass tubes look much better than LED signs.
They are also light weight and easy to hang. HOWEVER, half of the signs I've purchased to date have
died. Sometimes it starts with intermittent working, or coming on then going out. Eventually they just don't
come on anymore. I'm assuming it has something to do with the controller, but I cant' find a replacement.
The seller worked with me on two replacements, I paid for one and he warrantied the other, which was
nice. But, I'm still stuck with a growing pile of signs that don't work. The price is good for what you get, it
looks nice and works well until it doesn't. I still like how they look when they work, but having to constantly
replace them gets expensive and wasteful. Good luck!

Good sign. So far I haven’t experienced any problems with the on/off cord. To avoid any problems I
plugged the sign into a power bar so I don’t turn it on and off using the pull chain. The biggest appeal to
this sign was the price, it was less than half of any other neon open sign I could find.
