Management Plan

PARTICIPATE AND ASSIST

After realizing the different elements and steps of classroom/remote

management plan you are now ready to make your own plan which you can
implement in your classroom/remote learning. You may request a copy of a
Classroom/Remote Learning Management Plan of your Resource Teacher or
you may surf the internet for more samples/ exemplars in creating your plan.

Be guided by the guide questions for each of the elements. Follow

these reminders in writing your plan:

 State your plan positively.

 Use simple specific terms.
 Use measurable and observable behaviors.
 Convey expected behaviors.

My Classroom Management Plan

Philosophical Statement
The most important fragment in any educational setting is classroom
management. I think authentic learning is possible when students are in a
safe and secure learning environment. This doesn't always entail
disciplining learners for misbehavior; rather, it involves establishing a
positive classroom environment, preventing misbehavior through engaging
curricula, and successfully integrating all students so that their needs are
fulfilled. My main objective in establishing strong classroom management is
to create an environment that allows all learners to learn; a room that
appreciate whoever they are and a learning space that provides an

opportunity to learn from their mistakes.

Classroom Rules and Behaviors
To ensure an organize and well-disciplined students, I really like the idea of
having the students involved in making their own rules and negotiating with
each other which ones to put in the constitution. If the students are involved
in making the rules, I believe they will be more inclined to obey them and
the consequences that will be implemented will not be fought against. I
would have the students write the final constitution on a poster board and
hang it in the room. I would also send the constitution home to have the
parents sign it and return it to me so that I can include them in what we are
trying to accomplish in the classroom. With this, I’m looking forward that the
classroom rules they crafted will be observed and also I’m looking forward
to have these rules:
 Be on time
 Always maintain the classroom clean inside and outside
 Show respect all the time
 Proactively participate in class discussion.
 Raise your hand if you want to speak or say something.
 When someone is speaking, remain silence and listen carefully.
Teacher-Student Relationship
To have meaningful learning environment, I want to create an environment
with positive and numerous student-teacher relationships. Especially in
diverse classrooms where many students are from different backgrounds, I
want to create an environment where students are not and do not feel that
they are being treated unfairly. I do not want to label students or assume
their academic ability on the way they look or act. I do not want the diverse
settings to lead to situations where communication is not happening. I feel
this is where behavior problems may arise. Thus, I will treat them fairly and
with respect. I’ll teach them to be morally upright and to respect others. In
doing so, I will use words of affirmation to uplift and motivate them to always
to their best. Most importantly, I will be the one who will serve as their role

model demonstrating the good moral, right conduct, and values that I look
forward my students also demonstrate.
Schedules and Timeframes
In terms of time and scheduling, I will organize my class schedule based on
what my co-teachers and I agreed upon. I should always consider my
coworkers' and students' perspectives. In addition, crafting well the lesson
plans is very important for every meeting becomes meaningful so I will
make every part of my lesson interesting and interactive in order to keep my
students' attention on the task at hand. I should always draw the attention of
all of my students, even those in the back. I should also take into account
their emotions and circumstances.
Classroom Structure, Design and Arrangements
With an effective classroom arrangement, teachers can facilitate different
instructional activities and support the varying needs of the students.
Additionally, they can prevent disruptive behaviors and the loss of
instructional time. Each classroom is unique and has different needs. For
this reason, there is no one best way to design the classroom environment.
Therefore, in the first week of the class, I will arrange them alphabetically
and alternate boys and girls. For me to easily familiarize them and later on I
will make adjustments on it based on their behavior and needs.
Classroom Safety Rules and Procedures
To ensure the safety and security of my students, I will provide a medicine
cabinet in case something goes wrong. Aside from that, I should get rid of
anything that could be dangerous, such as knives, chemicals, or anything
else. For security reasons, the classroom should have two doors in case of
emergency. I will impose rules such as requiring students to notify me or a
security guard if they have any concerns, posting a cellphone number in
case of an emergency, and prohibiting students from leaving campus during
class hours to ensure their safety.
Moreover, I want to be consistent in the procedures in terms of managing
the class and the teaching-learning process as well in a way that I will

always make it interesting and exciting. Because I firmly believe that with
this strategy I can provoke curiosity, collaboration, communication, and
critical thinking of my students that is vital for them to become a life-long
learners.
Strategies for Rewards and Consequences
I genuinely believed that whatever you do, you deserved something to
have about it. For instance, if you did a great job, you will have a satisfying
reward that can draw a smile in your face. On the other hand, if you
misbehave or off-task, you deserve a positive reinforcement about the
behavior you demonstrate. I intend to facilitate class to craft their rules that
will hold student’s accountable for their actions. With this case, I will
provide a reward system strategy by giving something special and using
words of affirmation and praising them for the things they deserve.

NOTICE

After reading and reviewing the classroom/learning management plan from

different sources and creating your own plan, answer the following question.

1. What salient components have you noted? I took note of the teacher-
student interaction since it is one of the most important aspects of the
classroom management strategy.

I firmly believe that the students will listen and follow

intentionally and not against to their will to the teacher’s interaction if
they feel free and comfortable enough with the teacher. And you can
only have that by creating a positive connection between you as a
teacher and the students. The influence of developing a relationship
with your student on their learning is significant. Another is the
classroom rules and procedures, which are the backbone of the
classroom and establish the tone for the atmosphere.

2. Why is there a need to utilize the information to create your classroom

management plan?

It is critical to use information especially the students profile

while developing a classroom management strategy since it will give
you an avenue to make a conducive learning environment if you - as a
teacher - take into account the diversity of the students primarily
because you can adjust your strategies just to cater the needs and
demands of the students. A well-managed classroom, above all, has a
favorable influence on learners' academic progress.

3. What were the significant things that you notice when you were
implementing your plan? classroom should have two doors in case of
emergency.

The significant things that I’ve notice when I implement my plan are
the resources and time primarily because these two things have a major
impact for me to implement those things since I am pre-service teacher. I
am adjusting my idealistic side of me towards teaching into the real
situations in the educational setting. Moreover, I wanted to emphasize the
safety norms and procedures. We must take good care of our learners,
keep them safe, and keep them out of harm's way while they’re
understanding the world and enhancing their skills in order to face any
challenges in their life as the time passes by.

4. Were there items in your classroom/learning management plan which

were not tailored to the needs of your students? How will you improve on
these?

No, and I believe that in order to improve my classroom

management practices as well as my teaching style, I should focus on the
items that they will use rather than those that I will only be displayed in the
classroom.

ANALYZE

1. What elements in your classroom/learning management plan were mostly

followed/complied with?

There were lots of elements in my classroom management plan

complied with specifically the students craft the rules resulting for them
to become responsible enough about their behavior as well as the
schedule and time frame also followed. In addition, the teacher-
students relationship is very evident that gives a smooth transition in
every part of the teaching-learning process resulting to have a
harmonious discussion.

2. What elements in your plan were the most difficult to implement? Why?

During my first day of actual teaching, I’m struggling a lot since

the students were passive and somehow I am stranger to them but in
the succeeding days everything goes smoothly. The fragment in my
plan that I struggle to implement is the classroom procedures and
building a meaningful connection with them.

REFLECT

What were your realizations after creating and implementing your

classroom/remote learning plan?

After the actual teaching implementing my own classroom

management, I’ve come into realization that experience is the best

teacher primarily because when my first day of my actual teaching, I

am very idealistic in a way that all of the things must be done smoothly
while giving the quality education. I do realized that a great teacher
must know how to adopt and adapt with the educational setting
especially know first the students in order for us - educators to give the
best learning experience we want. I am very thankful that I have a
glimpse of teaching experience in order for me to make adjustments
and turn my weaknesses into strength for me to give my students
access to quality education.

I also realized that as educators, we hold the power to transform

the learning landscape with a well-crafted classroom management
plan. It’s not just about maintaining order, it’s about creating an
enriching environment that foster growth, collaboration, and inclusivity.
With this regards, I figure out that consistency is the backbone of any
successful classroom management strategy. When students know
what to expect, they are better equipped to navigate the learning
terrain. Thus, clear communication is vital for achieving conducive and
harmonious learning environment

I figure out that one of the foundation of effective classroom

management lies in building positive relationships between teachers
and students. In this case, taking time to know each of my student,
understand their needs, showing genuine interest in their academic
success. In doing so, I believe that I am now creating a safe and
secure space where students feel valued and respected, leading to
increased motivation and cooperation in the class.

The most significant realization I had now is that every class is

unique, and it’s important to remain flexible when implementing your
classroom management plan. I must prepared myself to have
adjustments in my approach based on the students needs and
personalities, and I must be willing to try new approaches until you find

what works best for my students. Indeed with an effective classroom

management plan, I can unlock the full potential of every learner and
as a result I can watch my students soar with a smile in my face and
satisfaction in my heart.
