Now take your stuffed head, place it on the top corner of the body,
pin it in place. Refer to picture. Once you have the head pinned in
place, and if your happy with the placement sew to body. (Note: the
back of my head (bottom) ended on rnd 18 of the body and the front
was on rnd 5)

leave 6” to sew eyes to head. 1st add a black pupil using black yarn,
just stitch the black spot on the eyes (Note: mine are a little larger
than the eraser on a pencil, also my Scooby is slightly cross eyed),
once that is complete sew the eyes to head directly above the
mussel with a sc separating the two eyes, and a sc separating the
eyes from the mussel.

Eyebrow: (Make 2)

leave 4” to sew with. 1st take your beginning and ending yarn and tie
them in a knot. Then sew eyebrows to head at a slight angle, about

STUFF upper leg before sewing all the way on. Now with the
remaining yarn, starting at the bottom of the leg, wrap the leg with
the yarn, run the yarn threw the middle of the leg (rnd 1) back threw
to the bottom of the leg, pull tight and fasten down. (you should end
with what looks like the bend in the leg, with a line in the upper leg
that is goes half way across and is on the bottom part of leg) refer to
picture.

Row 1: ch61, sc in 1st ch from hook and last 59 ch, turn (60)
Row 2: (sc in each sc), across, F/O (60) leave 4” to sew ends tog.
Wrap collar around neck, be sure not to let it twist and sew the ends
tog.

Tag:
Starting with Delft Blue

Row 1: ch7, sc in 1st ch from hook and last 5 ch, turn (6)
Rows 2-5: (sc in each sc), across, turn (6) switch to Brt. Yellow at end
of Row 5
Row/Rnd. 6: sc around whole piece w/3sc in each corner, join w/sl
st, ch21, sl st in 1st ch from hook and next 20 ch, join w/sl st in next sc
on Row/Rnd. 6, F/O leave 4” to sew with. Take the “sl st ch” and

wrap it around collar and back to the tag. At the beginning of ch 21
connect the tag to the “sl st ch“. Be sure that the good side of the tag
(not the side where all the extra yarn shows) is pointing outward.
Now with a 6” piece of Brt. Yellow stitch the letters: S D on the tag.

Finishing:
Part 1:
Using Black
Add the lines to the paws, 3 lines for each paw (Note: I doubled my
lines and I wrapped 10 rnds on the paws)

Part 2:
Using Black
Add the lines to the feet, 3 lines for each foot (Note: I doubled my
lines and I wrapped 15 rnds on the foot)

Part 3:
Using Black
Add the mouth lines and 6 dots (3 on each side of cheek) to mussel.
Refer to picture for placement.

Part 4:
Using Black

Add the hair on his chin. Add the hair using a “single knot fringe” 3
times with 2” pieces of yarn. After you have them in place cut them
to the size you like.
