Supplies→ Fabrics: Main Fabric (plain weave cotton poplin, medium weight, light cream, about 14×14”-35×35cm), Extra
Fabric for Finishing the Back of the Embroidery Hoop (opaque/translucent to hide the threads on the back, matching the
color of the main fabric and free of patterns to avoid visual distraction, up to 14×14”-35×35cm). Pattern Transfer Tools
(choose one method): Dark Carbon Paper/Pilot Frixion Dark Heat-Erasable Pen/Sulky Printable Sticky Fabri-Solvy
Stabilizer. Embroidery Hoop: Wooden Round Hoop (7”/18cm-the smaller hoop diameter). Scissors: Embroidery
Scissors, Fabric Scissors. Needles: DMC Embroidery Needles (size 3). Threads: DMC Cotton Embroidery Floss, DMC
100% Polyester Metallic Embroidery Thread (each skein is a bundle of 6 strands, about 8 meters long, that can be
separated to adjust thread thickness. The skein is held together by small paper tubes displaying the brand and color code).
You can prepare the supplies from a craft store, your local online store,
or an international online store like Etsy.
