Central idea: Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong is known as the father of Genting Highlands development and he is the best role model that should we take as example.

Introduction I. II. Assalamualaikum and very good afternoon. Ladies and gentleman, can you imagine that you are having a holiday at the mountain with your beloved one, sitting in the cable car and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way to the peak of the mountain. III. When you arrive at the peak, you feel so surprise and amazing to see the view in front of you because there is such a beautiful view and a lot of entertainment awaits you there. IV. Just say what kind of game that you want, from the indoor games to the outdoor games, everything is there, at the Genting Highland. V. Im sure you all have been there at least once in your life and very curious about the person who responsible for the development of Genting Highland. VI. Just same like you, thus I do a research to know more about that person and I was very surprised because the person that Im searching for was one of the famous people in Malaysia that I never realized before. VII. He is known as the father of Genting Highlands development and he is Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong. VIII. So, today I would like to share with you some information that I gathered from the book of My Story which are about Tan Sri Lim Goh Tongs life story, his contribution and achievement and also about his characteristic.

I. Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong wrote about his life story in his book of My Story. A. He migrated from China's Fujian province in 1937 at the age of 19 B. He came to Malaya and worked for his uncle as a carpenter in the first two years. 1. After gaining experience he went on to He has diversified into many other become a building sub-contractor. 2. industries such as plantations, property, paper, power generation, oil and gas exploration and cruise boat industries. C. He gets married with Puan Sri Lee Kim Hua in 1944. They were blessed with six children (three sons and three daughters) and 19 grandchildren. D. He passed away peacefully on 23 October 2007 at the age of 90 and was buried at the Goh Tong Memorial Park, Genting Highland.

Genting Highland has transformed from an unexplored hilltop to one of the world's most successful casino resorts nowadays. 2. Now, Genting has become a leading international holiday destination that boosted the tourism in Malaysia. B. Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong had won many awards together with his company Genting Group for his entrepreneurship and his contribution. C. He has also being bestowed the title Tan Sri on 6 June 1979. D. In 1978 Lim Goh Tong set up Yayasan Lim, a family foundation that donates regularly to educational and medical institutions, old folk's homes, various organisations for the physically handicapped and other charitable causes E. TSLGT has become a billionaire in Malaysia and also in the Asia.
