Steps to complete the MFA Authentication

Sign in to the Microsoft Office portal using Edge or Chrome or other browser
URL : https://login.microsoftonline.com/

You’ll get a prompt to set up your authentication.

After Clicking Next below page will Open

Select Mobile App from Drop down and click on Set up as below

Install – Microsoft Authenticator App in smart phone

Open Microsoft Authenticator from Mobile, Login using official Email ID.
Select – Work or School account from app.

Through App add account by scanning the QR Code from the browser window as below and click
Next

Open Microsoft Authenticator Application from Mobile.

1. In application, at top right corner →click on “3 dots icon”


2. Next → Click on Add Account → Select → Work or School Account→ Select Scan QR code
option.
3. Scan QR code from the screen and account will be get added in Authenticator app.

Enter the 6 – Digit code from Microsoft Authenticator App and click on verify.

Register Personal Mobile number by Selecting Country Code and click Next

Copy app password for future use and save it, if required any and click on Done

Note:

MFA - Authenticator App and Phone number, if in Future Number or Mobile gets changed.
You can delete and add new one. By clicking Add method and proceed.

Download and install the MFA app.

It’s available in play store for Windows Phone, Android, and iOS. All versions of MFA app
will have a blue background with a lock image.

Whenever you are login from any browser and pop-up will appear for enter password and Code.
