a new screen. Also have an old radar radar with a mysterious junction
box connected to it. So I kept that, my old autopilot Smart PILOT
Tiller S1 still worked, but while moving some wiring, the +12V in
terminal would no longer hold the wire. Removed the board and
found couple of other issues. Had no luck finding a used tiller course
computer so I ordered the EV100 kit.
I intend to install Actisense NGW-1-STNG to connect the chart
plotter/radar in to bring in GPS data. It comes with "5way" connector
and two Ts. As my luck would have it, I need to connect 5 spurs to
the back bone. Only on item, the gyro/UFO is some distance away. I
will use the 5m backbone with a T and resistor to reach it. The other
spurs are short. With very limited space and to keep things neat, I
would like to use the "backbone extender" A06030 to connect the
5way to one of my Ts directly (instead of short backbone cable). So
far I haven't seen anything on the internet that this is allowed. Please
advise. Stan

You need a RM MFD anyway - you MUST update the firmware before
use. mine was damn right dangerous until I updated the Firmware.

make a big difference on efficiency of the autopilot.
