Staff: Paramjit and Elma Week: October 7th – October 11th, 2024
The children were excited to make geodes, and while doing so, they discussed having geodes in their homes or
seeing them in shopping malls. This shows they were able to relate the activity to their real-life experiences. H, L, E,
S, and J made scarecrows out of construction paper and talked about reading about scarecrows in storybooks.
Creative Arts:
Always available to children on open shelves: sculpture (clay, plasticines), drawing materials, paper, glue, paint,
sparkles, feathers, cardboard, yarn, beads, wood pieces, ‘beautiful junk’, fabric, pipe cleaners, etc.
