Results and Analysis

Presentation, Analysis, and Interpretation of Data

This chapter provides the presentation of statistical data relative to the problems posited. The
corresponding analysis and interpretation of data are incorporated in this portion of the study.

After conducting the interview we have found out that one respondent's reason for joining sports
related ECA is because it is his passion or hobby, according to him "Kasi ano gusto ko 'yon, passion ko
'yon. Tapos ano parang hobby. Yun talaga passion ko talaga." Which lead to him joining the specific ECA,
and motivate him to fully pursue his passion and hobbies through ECA.

While also two of respondent said that they joined ECAs because they are interested in it and their skills
correlates to that specific ECA according to one of them "Parang nakukuha nila 'yung interest ko.
Syempre interested din na line-up mo, syempre more on academic. Kung saan rin tugma 'yung mga skills
mo." While the other one said that "Kasi align siya sa interest ko" which fully inspires them to participate
in ECA which they are interested in.

Although most the respondents answered that the reason for them in joining ECA is based on their own
decision, interest, and their skills are fit for the activity, but one respondent answered that the reason
for him joining is because his parents told him to, when we asked him what is his reason for joining ECA
he told us that "Kasi sabi ni papa" which is mostly because of his father's decision.

Most of the responden'ts answer for joining is basically because of their own interest, skills, or their
parent's decision but one respondent answered that his reason for joining was because he wanted to
further improve his leadership skills and his self esteem and self confidence according to him "kasi gusto
ko lang talagang ma ano ma develop yung leadership skills ko kasi ano ako dati eh mahiyain ganoon,
kaya ayon." .

While one our respondents said that the reason for her joining was because she already has experienced
participating in that specific ECA
