Project undertaken in-house


A. Main Responsibilities:

a. Develop a full structural study based on details (layouts, sections, etc.) received from the project
architect

b. Collaborate hand in hand with the project architect to minimise any deviation from the
architectural designs

B. Main Tasks and Accountabilities:

a. Make sure to get the bearing capacity value from the geotechnical engineer before the footing
design

b. Produce of all detailed structural drawings as per Gasabo 3D standards

c. Share the needed documents to the QS department for cost estimation

d. Put in order the final structural drawings in PDF and CAD version and submit to the project
architect for printing and filling purposes

e. For a structure audit project, work closely with the geotechnical engineer and advice what data
are needed for a proper structure audit, conduct a full analysis and generate a comprehensible
report with a clear conclusion and recommendation to help the client to decide.

f. Communicate or report the project status / challenges to the head of department on weekly basis

C. Deliverables

- Calculation notes

- Detailed structural drawings as per Gasabo 3D standards

- Technical report in case of structure audit project

- Weekly project status / challenges

- Any other document judged necessary by Gasabo 3D management.

2. Project undertaken by external consultants


- Make sure the consultant is working following Gasabo 3D technical standard

- Undertake a regular monitoring of the project to assure its timely delivery

- Set up regular meetings with the consultant's team to minimise any deviation from the Gasabo 3D
standard
