WINTER HOLIDAY HOMEWORK

MATHS
1. Chapter: Play with PATTERNS
AIM : To make a Pyramid and writing the names of the family
member’s first name in coded form.
Things we need : A4 sized sheet, colour and a ruler.
How to do: Children will take an A4 sized sheet and will draw a
pyramid on that. They will write the name of the family member’s
first name in coded form.
At the back of the sheet the child will write the rule used in coding
the names.

2. Chapter: How Heavy, How Light?


AIM: To find out 5 different items at your home of varied weight
with different metric units.
Things we need : 5 items of different weight, A4 sized sheet,
colouring materials.
How to do: Children will collect and write the names of those 5
items on the sheet. They will also find the weight of those 5 items in
different metric unit. If they can’t find the weight they can write an
approx. weight of that item. They will then arrange the items in
descending order according to their weights.

EVS
1. Prepare two to three pages of write-ups on any one seminar topic
given in the CDLO-Term

2. Best out of waste activity. Children will make some utility


products out of waste material and unused things which they find
at home. They will submit the same to their respective class
teacher.

3. All home activities of term 2, given in CDLO of chapters done till


December, to be done in EVS file.

हिंदी
1. शब्द संसार - सत्र के आरंभ में दिए गए शब्द सूची से बीस शब्दों
को चुनें, फिर एक A/3 कागज़ में

दस-दस शब्दों को उनके अर्थों के साथ लिखते हुए दो सुंदर वेब चार्ट
बनाएँ।
2. पुनरावृत्ति - SCM से विशेषण एवं क्रिया पाठ का दोहराव करें।
3. उड़ते बादल - एक A/3 कागज़ में बादलों के सुंदर चित्र/उनकी
विभिन्न आकृतियाँ बनाकर एक
छोटी-सी स्वरचित कविता लिखें।

ENGLISH

1. Children will make a collage of their favourite fairy tales.


2. Complete the story in about 100-120 words. Also give a suitable
title
to the story. Don’t forget to follow the format

3. Children will memorize the word list of Irregular verbs and
adjectives
provided with this assignment and use them in their conversation
and
writing.
4. The tense table provided will enable the students to frame
correct
meaningful sentences and help them in the communication skill.
Teachers will ensure that the concepts are clear to the students.

छात्र संस्कृत का एक श्लोक उसके हिंदी अर्थ सहित याद करेंगे और


अपनी संस्कृत की कॉपी में उसे लिखेंगे।
