Q1. What is Solver?
Ans. Solver follows the Goal Seek method to solve equations. The only difference between Goal Seek and Solver is Solver deal with equations that have multiple variables as the Goal Seek is used to manipulate one variable cell. Q2. What is Goal Seek? Ans. Goal Seek feature is an important part of what if analysis feature of spreadsheet. Goal seek is basically used when our output value is fixed and we have to make a change in any one of the input values. Goal seek is just reverse of Scenario. Q3. What is Scenarios? Ans. The Scenarios is an important feature that you use to test the ‘what if’ questions. It enables you to analyse the data by putting different input values. For example if you want to calculate the effect of different interest rates, you can add a scenario for each interest rate, and quickly view the result. Q4. What are Macro? Ans. A macro is a saved sequence of commands or keystrokes that are stored for later use. Macro are especially useful to repeat a task the same way over and over again. Q5. What is Consolidating data? Ans. Consolidating data means combining data from multiple tables or multiple sheets in a workbook. In consolidating data inbuilt functions are used example Sum, Count, Average, Max, Min and Product. Q6. Define Subtotal. Ans. The Subtotal feature is used for generating subtotal from the subgroups of data. It helps you to manage, analyse and extract specific information from rows of related data. It is basically used to to get the summarized data.
