Applied ethics is the branch of ethics that examines specific,
real-life moral issues and dilemmas.

It applies philosophical concepts to practical problems we


encounter in daily life, helping to guide responsible decision-
making in personal, professional, and societal areas.
Provides frameworks for evaluating the ethical impact of
decisions in specific contexts like business practices, human
relationships, and societal issues. 2

of ethical principles within a business context.

• It involves examining appropriate business


practices, corporate responsibility, and
maintaining integrity in all corporate activities.

Sexual ethics It studies moral issues about

moral conduct of relationships and sexual
activities from a philosophical perspective.

1 Premarital Sex: It is voluntary sexual intercourse between unmarried persons.

Extramarital Sex: Extramarital sex occurs when a married person engages in


2 sexual activity with someone other than their spouse.
Contraception: It is the use of artificial means to prevent the conception of
3 children through intercourse.
Homosexuality: refers to the attraction between people who are of the same
4 sex. It is condemned in the Bible (Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:27) which is a
revelation of God's law to humanity Apparent good: sexual relationship (e.g. it was
right because we were in love) vs. real good: abstinence to prevent violation of
God's natural design
