Product discontinuation CMS/CDS current sensor families

Dear Sir / Madam,

We would like to inform you about a product discontinuation of our CMS and CDS families of
current sensors. The past two years have seen our customer structure change since the
introduction of the CFS1000 current sensor. A large number of customers for the CMS/CDS
current sensor families has changed to CFS1000 during this time as it offers many features
which make it the ideal solution for their measurement task. This, in turn has caused a
significant reduction in the overall production quantities for CMS and CDS with a
corresponding impact on production cost.

We have made significant effort to hold production costs down, despite the reduced volume,
and have also accepted reduced margins. However, we have now reached a point where we
need to announce the discontinuation of these product families.

Please note that the following current sensors are discontinued from our program range with
effect from 31st December 2018.

We offer you the option for a last-time-buy (limited number of pieces), i. e. new orders for the
discontinued products will be accepted until the above mentioned date. Unfortunately, we are
not able to provide a 100 % compatible replacement product but with the CFS1000 we can
offer you an equivalent and flexible current sensor generation.

Please forward this information also to other persons or departments in your company which
are responsible for product discontinuations.
