Data Scientist

Responsibilities
Industrial AI and Advanced Analytics

Data Collection and Preprocessing

• Gather, clean, and label image data from industrial processes.

• Preprocess data for model training, including image resizing, normalization, and
augmentation.

Model Training and Development


• Assist in training predictive and time series models

• Experiment with various machine learning and deep learning algorithms to find the most
effective solutions.

Algorithm Optimization and Tuning

• Fine-tune model hyperparameters for improved accuracy and speed.

• Optimize models to work efficiently on edge devices or constrained environments typical in


industrial settings.

Testing and Validation

• Conduct testing to ensure model performance on real-world data.

• Participate in evaluating models’ robustness, accuracy, and reliability in industrial scenarios.

Deployment and Integration

• Assist in deploying models in production environments, ensuring compatibility with industrial


equipment and processes.

• Integrate models with existing industrial systems, such as PLCs or IoT frameworks, under the
guidance of senior team members.

Predictive Analytics/Machine Learning/AIoT/Time Series Modelling

Knowledge On:

Time Series:

Time Series Analysis involving detecting trends and patterns, forecasting future values
using models like ARIMA, SARIMA, Prophet, and LSTMs, and identifying anomalies or
outliers in time series data.

o Time series features extraction, for example using Fourier and Wavelet
transforms
o Project/Knowledge on Signal processing, Vibration and Noise Control/Acoustics
data analytics, and IoT sensor data analytics highly appreciated.
o Project on Digital Twins, Digital Triplets would be preferred

Machine Learning:

Classification, regression, reinforcement learning, linear models,


supervised and unsupervised learning, time-series, parameter tuning.

Optimization:

Local vs. global optimum, gradient, role of convexity, gradient descent,


constrained optimization, stochastic gradient descent.

AIoT

Knowledge On:
