Instruction for Table 1: The item in the Table below is intended to elicit your knowledge of
the moral virtues whichyou personally consider as your strengths and as means to realize your
being a morally active Christian. The Table has two columns: the column for identified moral
virtues as values and as your strengths, and the column for your behavioral indicators (that is,
your attitude being translated into observable actions, or actuations or practices). In identifying
moral virtues, take a look at my Lecture Notes in power-point presentation that contain slides
on Moral Virtues. Give at least ten (10) moral virtues which you consider as your moral
strengths.

Write Ten (10 ) Moral Virtues as Values and Write at least ten (10) Observable Behavioral
their Corresponding Definition Indicators for every given virtue.
Example: Generosity (as moral virtue) = Example: “I regularly donate certain amount of
money to my chosen charitable institution every
year.”

when they are going through difficult times.

The Table has two columns: the column for identified moral virtues as challenges, and the
column for possible ways how to overcome or surmount them. In identifying moral virtues,
take a look at my Lecture Notes in power-point presentation that contain slides on Moral
Virtues. Give at least ten (10) moral virtues which you consider challenges in realizing your
being a potential virtuous Christian.

Write ten (10) Moral which you find difficult Write a one way, for every item, by which you
to live out could surmount or overcome such difficulties.
Your answers are in the form of action words
or observable behaviors that you could
personally practice despite the apparent
difficulty.
Example: Patience (as a moral virtue) Example: “I practice the art of listening to people
who talk about non-sensible things.”

such as emotional liberation and improved
relationships. Try to understand the perspective of
the person you need to forgive and empathize
with theiractions

meditation or deep breathing to manage impulses
and emotions. Set clear goals for self-control
andreward yourself for achieving them

promoting open and non-judgmental

and personal integrity.
