Afternoon Swim by Louis Vuitton is a Citrus fragrance
for women and men. Afternoon Swim was launched in
2019. The nose behind this fragrance is Jacques
Cavallier Belletrud.

Les Colognes Louis Vuitton is the new line of the Les Parfums Louis
Vuitton collection that comes out in April 2019. Perfumer Jacques
Cavallier Belletrud signed all creations of this house. The three fresh,
cologne-like scents (in EDP concentration) are named Sun Song,
Cactus Garden and Afternoon Swim.

Louis Vuitton collaborated with L.A.-based artist Alex Israel, who

designed the outer packaging of the new fragrances. The flacons and
boxes come in a bright yellow, green and blue, with drawings of a
sun, a cactus and a wave.

Afternoon Swim is a "full of energy" scent, with orange, bergamot

and mandarin. "I wanted a shot of vitamin C in the fragrance,
something full of energy," explained Cavallier Belletrud.

The fragrances will be available as a 100 and 200 ml Eau de Parfum.

Initially I did NOT like this. Smelt just like a

pool to me.

But over time, wearing it, it really has

picked up my interest - yes to the extent
that I will buy a 200ml bottle. The opening
is extremely citrus and fresh, but man the
dry down is incredibly good.

The performance is very mid on skin, but

that can be expected for a citrus dominant
fragrance. But this lasts pretty long on
clothes, so great to overspray on it.

ever smelt. If I do get this it will have to be
200ml that I overspray on hot summer
days.

And don’t get me started on the notes! The

Afternoon swim by @louisvuitton is

probably the most amazing fresh perfume
ever made. It opens up with the brightest,
most beautiful, juicy mandarin and orange
combination and then it dries down into an
aquatic sea salt form of ambergris. It is a
photorealistic citrus perfume without it
smelling like a cleaner whatsoever.
Afternoon swim sparkles with a hit of that
aquatic ambergris. Unfortunately it does
not last so long. It is also my favorite
layering perfume with all of my perfumes. If
i want to brighten a perfume and add some
citruses, I layer it with afternoon swim.

underperforming, yet pleasant scent, i do

like the notes a lot, but i feel like this smells
much more like tea than imagination does,
this does have a very faded "chlorine"
composition, like if chlorine was a fruit i
guess, which is weird, but it definitely
smells like a pool, but jeez, 2 hours i got on
this before it was hardly a skin scent, but i
did spray half a spray to be fair at the store.
so take it with a grain of salt

It's a good smell, but its very reminiscent of

the pool... I guess hence the name.
Considering getting a 200ml, but I'm trying
out the Montagne dupe first to see the
scent and performance.

Would recommend for people that are new

to fragrance but want to improve their
perfume closet a little bit... so yes I love to
sniff it off my wrist and injoy it for 5
MINUTES! :) and then, there is nothing
more... I would highly recommend LV
Imagination if you want something fresh
instead of this one...

Love the scent, but hate the price. It opens

with an effervescent burst of mandarin
orange and fizzles down to a lightly spicy,
gingery aroma. I like it but I won't buy it.

Definitely not a typical department store

aquatic fragrance. What you're paying for is
quality. If it wears off, spray more.
Sometimes that's the cost of quality. This
only partially smells like orange juice. Along
with that, there are other notes that bring in
something lavish. I envision an early fall
afternoon swim. Lovely. Spray it liberally all
over and on clothing.

This is a perfect summer scent and the

smell is very high quality albeit very linear
scent. I get it that some people say that it
smells like bvlgari tygar and it does, only for
a while. I cannot help but notice that it has
similar scent with creed silver mountain
water, maybe the mandarin orange. This is
a very good scent but for the price?! I'd
rather invest on a clone. Buy this if money
is never going to be an issue to you.

The name "Afternoon Swim" perfectly

describes what this fragrance is.
The swim is refreshing and invigorating, yet
it's in the afternoon so it's soothing and
relaxing, maybe even a bit playful.
The opening and dry-down perfectly reflect
this, burst of a sweet citrus orange in the
opening, and clean and soothing in the dry-
down.
Between Afternoon Swim and Pacific Chill,
I think both are great and it's up to
preference which is better—you can't go
wrong. Pacific Chill is citrus and fruits all
throughout even until the dry-down,
extremely juicy and tropical.
However, you can go wrong. The longevity
and sillage are just terrible for what you're
paying for and are extremely disappointing
for how good the scents are.

This is a beautiful summer only fragrance. It

smells like a rich man on a yacht off the
French Riviera or off the Campania Amalfi
coast eating a fancy & expensive dinner in
the middle of July. I really love the smell,
but I was devastated by the lackluster
performance. It only lasts about 2-3 hrs on
me and for what LV charges that’s
completely inexcusable. Jacques should’ve
added ambroxan in this and it would easily
be the #1 fresh LV fragrance.

The definition of a fresh fragrance. VERY
citrusy, it really smells just like orange juice.

Smells great, however performance is very

disappointing. Average sillage with under
average longevity. Personally I won't buy a
full bottle of this, especially with its price
point.

Very very fresh, smells like you're eating a

bunch of oranges after you just got out of a
pool. Projection is also good, people
around you will get whiffs of it. Major
drawback is the longevity, I really want to
love this scent but can't because it only
lasts around 3hrs on skin, maybe 4 on a
good day. There's better scents out there
that you can drop $300 on, but if you can
find a well priced decant on this I would try
it out because it really is a very pleasant
smell

My sister used to smell EXACTLY like this

years ago!!
Idk what she used, had to be a lotion or
body mist though.
Feminine leaning, something you’d smell on
a woman in a hotel lobby or the pool area.
Guys if you want orange just stick with
AHS.
