Afirmative sentences:

Negative sentences
Subject + do/does + not + Verb(in base form) + Complement

Afirmative:
Yes, + Sujeto + is/are.
Yes, he is
Yes, they are
Negative:
No, + Sujeto + is not (isn't) / are not (aren't).

GRAMMAR
We use the present simple to talk about, something that is true in the present:
NOTE:
If your sentence uses “am,is/are” as the main verb, you do not need do/does.
If your sentence uses any other verb, you need do/does for questions or
negatives.
