d. Rationale: Business Statistics provides essential quantitative skills for data
analysis, decision-making, and forecasting. It equips students with tools to
interpret and draw insights from data, enabling informed strategic planning and
evidence-based decision-making crucial for managerial roles
e. Course Learning Objective:
CLOBJ 1 Impart the required skills in collecting and understanding the data using basic
statistical tools and techniques

CLOBJ 2 Understand the basic statistical tools and techniques relevant to managerial
decision-making through examples and cases drawn from different functional
areas

CLOBJ 3 Foundation for data collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation in


other courses
