d. Rationale: MIS subject in the MBA curriculum helps students develop the
necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage information systems and use
technology to drive business decision making leading to success in today's digital
era.
e. Course Learning Objective:
CLOBJ 1 Understand the role of the information systems (IS) function in an
organization

CLOBJ 2 Develop an insight as to how information system influence business strategy

CLOBJ 3 Develop the ability to contribute meaningfully towards information system

CLOBJ 4 Identify and mitigate security and ethical challenges such as computer crime,
piracy, privacy concerns
