machine with the assistance of Engineer performs the
Cummins Advisor and regular builds the OEM prototype
machine Installation Review to confirm
discussions with the Cummins Design Review documentation
Application Engineer and calculations
Advisor
Cummins Application Engineer
meets with OEM to discuss product IQA
technical information, Cummins
Installation Recommendations,
and helps OEM to begin an
Process The Advisor Installation Review
Report is shared with the OEM
Advisor Design Review audited at Cummins for
compliance to IQA requirements.
Successful audit is required for
production launch by the OEM.

Advisor
How to Export a Review/AT/Component
Select the title of review/analytical tool/component you want to export in
the left pane of Advisor
Right click on the review/analytical tool/component in the left pane
Select Export from the pop-up menu
Specify location on your hard disk where you want to save your export file
Enter the File name you wish to call the DR/IR/AT/Component to be
exported
Select “Open”
The exported file is saved as a “.adb” file
63
How to Import a Review/Analytical Tool
Click File -> Import in the menu bar of Advisor
Browse to the location on your hard disk where you have detached the “.adb”
exported file and select it
Select “Open”
This will append the file to the bottom of your Advisor left-pane
Navigate to the review you want to import from the file (e.g. Design Review,
Installation Review or Analytical Tool)
Right click on the review title in the right-pane of Advisor and select “Import”.
This will then import the review/tool to your local Advisor database
Disconnect the attached file database by right clicking on the file name (at the
bottom left-pane of Advisor) and select “Disconnect”
