The Spoken Stage
Spoken word poetry is a form of performance
poetry to deliver thoughts and expression in
an impactful manner.
Participants will be given the theme/topic a
day prior to the event. They are expected to
complete the writing of the piece before
coming for the event.
A hard copy of the written pieces must be
provided before the performances.

Poetica Festival

MeloVerse
Participants will be given a selection of rock
and pop songs to choose from. Inspired by
the themes, emotions, or lyrics of their
chosen song, they will write an original
poem that reflects their interpretation of the
music.
The poems should capture the essence of
the song while showcasing the student's
creativity and poetic flair.

Artful Alchemy
Participants will create visual
artwork based on lines of poetry,
transforming words into visual art
using any medium they choose.
Participants must carry their own
art materials. Paper will be

Three-Line Wonder

Participants will be given a picture


stimulus and will be expected to
create a haiku which is a three-line
poem with seventeen syllables,
