Ever wonder how frogs manage to live in the cold?
Well, these specific frog species
are not only cold-weather natives, but they’re also able to survive some of the most extreme conditions around. In fact, they can even freeze solid and then thaw themselves out. And while they may seem like an odd example of nature at work, there is actually a very good reason for this adaptation – it allows them to thrive in frigid winter environments where other animals would simply die.
