TYPES OF RECREATION
1. PASSIVE RECREATION – activities that are less physically active.
2. ACTIVE RECREATION – activities that involve vigorous physical
activity.
KINDS OF RECREATION
1. INDOOR RECREATION – activity that is done within the confines of a
structure or building.
- This is an activity that gives some healthy benefits, enjoyment and
relaxation in the comfort of your home. Badminton, Volleyball and
Dance are examples of indoor recreational activity.
2. OUTDOOR RECREATION – activity that is done outside the confines
of a structure or building.
- Outdoor activities are quite fun and it gives a lot of adventure and
experience.
- Like climbing in the mountains, staying beside the beaches and
doing some camping.
- That help you relaxed and feel the vibes of the place.
- The use of outdoor journeys for life-long play, enjoyment,
adventure, health and well-being, fitness and socialization.
- Outdoor Recreation skills are a tool to facilitate exploration of
natural environments.
