COURSE TITLE 3D Animation
This course is an exploration of the principles and techniques
involved in creating 3D animations. Students will delve into the
fundamentals of 3D animation, learning the essential tools and

participants will develop a strong foundational understanding of
the 3D animation pipeline.

V. STUDENT OUTCOMES
At the end of this course, the students are expected to:

 Students will have a comprehensive understanding of the foundational principles of 3D


animation, including key terminology, concepts, and industry-standard practices.
 Mastery of essential 3D animation software tools and workflows, allowing them to
navigate interfaces, create 3D models, rig characters, animate scenes, apply textures,
set up lighting, and render projects.
 Proficiency in creating and manipulating 3D models using polygonal modeling
techniques, allowing them to craft diverse objects and characters.
 Ability to animate characters and objects effectively by applying principles of timing,
spacing, weight, and posing, creating compelling and expressive animations.
 Understanding how to construct rigging systems for characters, enabling them to move
realistically and expressively.
 Proficiency in applying textures and materials to 3D models, understanding how to create
realistic surfaces and visual effects.
 Capability to set up and manipulate lighting for 3D scenes, as well as render final projects
to achieve desired visual quality.
 Proficiency in storyboarding techniques, allowing them to plan and visualize animated
sequences before production.
 The ability to apply learned skills to create a cohesive 3D animated project, integrating
modeling, animation, lighting, and rendering effectively.
 Enhanced ability to analyze challenges in the animation process and employ creative
solutions, demonstrating adaptability and critical thinking skills.

Manual Regulations for Private Education Institution, a student has incurred more
than 20% of the total number of school
days (i.e., 7 unexcused absences) still not be given credit to the course
regardless of class standing
